Family Consequences

Hi SpiritFans,
Its not just outward actions that bring harm to our families, it is also now inward heart intentions.
Cleansing prayer can save our families from the consequences of our evil heart intent. We should pray to not only be healed, but also to save our own family members from harm that we bring upon our own household.
The music in our home, the magazines, the ornaments, the books are there for what intent?
My house has been anointed with olive oil in the name of Jesus. I have only inspirational music playing 24/7. I have anointed the doorposts of my house. I have a cross 3' X 2' on the wall. Also, fresh flowers, Bibles, godly books, prayer meetings, and the place is bathed in prayerful light literally and intentionally.
Paul reminds us that many Christians are sick, weak, and some have died because they do not respect the Body being a unity and in accord. At Communion some were pigging out not sharing with others, some were drinking too much. This disunity and lack of respect for the group resulted in death, weakness, and sickness in the Christian family. Are we not told to examine our own hearts? Does God look on the outward form or inside at the heart?
In this day and age, we can never do too much to protect our families from our own hearts of good and evil intent. The world we live in is more a spiritual reality than a physical reality. Out of our hearts are the issues of life. We need to guard our hearts with prayer, cleanse our hearts with prayer, and set up the world around us with prayer anointing. We are told to pray for our authorities for this reason.
Respect the spiritual world and be safe and secure in family and home. There is enough truth here for anyone wise enough to see light between two fence posts to take immediate action to cleanse their life.

Hi SpiritFans,
In interpreting Holy Scripture, the most important principle in this science known as Hermaneutics is the wonderful principle of "Harmony of all Truth". It means simply that truth harmonizes with truth. There is no friction. Truth is seamless, smooth, and in perfect clarity with any and all truth.
God writes His law today on our heart. This is fortunate for us I believe because who among us is smart enough, wise enough, or old enough to know what we are talking about? We have an inner sense of whats true and whats out of step with the truth even though we may not know how or why.. we just know that something doesn't seem completely right in some way. We also know something is right even if we don't know why its right.
What satan does is work through people, even Christians to say things that are out of harmony with the truth, even just a little. Its not the amount of disharmony, just a little bit will do.
Remember, scripture can not be broken. If two truths seem to contradict, they will reconcile when all the facts are known.

S i n & Family Consequences

It started with Eve. She brought sin to Adam and then sin was in the family with tragic consequences for us all.
Haman sinned and brought death to himself and his 10 sons.
Achan sinned and many in the family Of Israel died in battle. God revealed Achan's sin against Him, and Achan not only died, but also his sons, daughters, and all their animals perished.
Korah, Dathan, Abiram sinned and they and their families were swallowed up in death when the earth open and took them and families alive to their grave.
King Saul sinned and brought death to hiself and his son, specifically Jonathan the beloved friend of King David.
King David sinned and brought death, rape, incest, to his family. Even his own new born baby died before even seeing the light of day.
Simon the sorcerer was in the bond of sin and the gall of bitterness and he sinned in asking the Apostle Peter for the power to lay his hands on people for the receiving of the Holy Spirit. Peter told Simon that death was at his door, that his heart was not right before God, that he better repent of this wickedness and pray to be forgiven of the INTENT of his heart.

Some Never Learn

Hi SpiritFans,
What goes around comes around. Some people never learn this. They just keep experiencieng the fruit of their ways.
It goes by many names. Jesus said give and we will receive. Paul said what we sow, we reap. Forgive and be forgiven. Hate and be hated. Kill and be killed. Sow discord and reap discord. Betray and be betrayed. Serve and be served. Every action said Newton is followed by an equal and opposite reaction.
Lincoln said that people are about as happy as they make up their mind to be. This is true because as we think so are we. What a person thinks about most of the time is what they become.
Who do we have to blame then for the misery of our life, but outself? Shakespeare reminds us that the fault is not in the stars but in ourselves.
If we want a better life, we simply have only to live a better life. None of us can escape the consequences of our actions. In the world of morality, this is more true than even in the world of physics.

Hi SpiritFans,
More than once in history the sages of the ages tell us that attitude is very important.
The scripture talks about this in saying to focus our minds on things above, not on things on earth. WE are to focus on Christ. As long as Peter focused on Jesus, Peter could walk on water.
So, since Christ has done away with sin for us by His own blood, should we still focus on sin?
I believe our attention, attitude, or focus should only be on the leading of the Spirit. A double minded person is unstable in all ways. A single minded person focused on the daily leading and direction of the Holy Spirit has stability and freedom. To focus on the flesh is death and is to be control by the flesh in default. To focus on the Spirit is to be free.

Healthy, Wealthy, Wise

Hi SpiritFans,
God is healthy. God is wealthy. God is wise.
Since He is the author and sustainer of life, of course He is healthy. He never has a sick day.
Since He created gold, land, diamonds, owns the world, the solar system, our galaxy, and all the galaxys, we must agree that He is wealthy beyond the dreams of avarice.
Since He is the source of wisdom, we would agree that God is wise. He is behind the wisdom of Solomon, and more so Jesus.
So, being healthy, wealthy, wise.. what then is valuable to the Lord? Would you believe Love? To love and be loved is His highest value, His greatest life characteristic, His greatest wealth.
We would be better to take another look at love and why He considers it so healthy, wealthy and wise?

Sunday Strangers

Hi SpiritFans,
Week after week many of our bros/sis in Christ are sitting next to people in Sunday worship that they don't know, and who do not know them.
Worshipping with strangers is hardly fellowship and ministry of the spiritual gifts to each other. The Church of Jesus is like a hospital. We meet not only to honor God of our lives, but also to be healed and to help in the healing process of others. This healing ministry can not happen sadly in todays worship services if people don't know each other, talk to each other, and pray for each other. What a farce.
Small group fellowships is whats needed. I attend a small group meeting and its very beneficial and personal.

Gold & Fools Gold

In days past during the gold rush in California and Colorado there was a brass mineral FeS2 known as pyrite that shined and glittered like Gold but was false.
God is Love said John the Apostle. His most important and essential heart nature is Love. To me this is personal, intellectual and emotional action. Its caring in action. This is the hidden gold or treasure that Jesus spoke of hidden in a field, worth more than anythng. This is true Gold.
False gold is anything else but the love of God which He gives us even now in our heart. Ro. 5:5.
Anything else becomes a fetish, which is an extreme obsessive attachment to something. It will be a pride fetish, or a possession fetish, or a pleasure fetish.
Being in this world of fetishes, I can't ascend out of this world until my time comes. But, I can see pure gold in the distance. I can acknowledge it. I can pray for it. I can choose it. I can not however obtain it while here. Solomon in his wisdom told us we can kill ourself trying to be good. It has been said that those with extreme virtues have also some extreme vices. This is probably what Solomon was talkng about. The Apostle Paul was content to be where he was, but he looked ahead, above, and beyond to the Gold. He had to wait his turn. To depart this world is always better for us Christians. There is gold ahead, true Gold. While here, we can be content that we see it ahead, value it, and choose it. Our time will come. Let us hold fast to this vision.

Preachng To The Choir

How ya doin SpiritFans?
We should remember that on this Christian site we are mostly sharing our thoughts with the Church. We need each others gifts and ministry here. The Body of Christ needs very much to be built up. Many of the Spiritual Gifts give to us as Christians is for the purpose of edifying, healing, the body. So be it. So far so good. We need it; God supplies it.
Yet, as a world wide Church Body of Christ, we witness to a very lost, dying, corrupt, desperate, decaying, hurting mass of humanity. We are not called to share our pearls with the pigs of this world, only to witness, only to be visible, only to tell our story, some by word and mostly by example.
This lost world pays so much attention to what we do as the Body of Christ that what we say is often drowned out by our very actions. Sometimes our actions do, praise God, speak so loud that our words can't be heard. This is what we need to be doing more and more
Yes preach to the Choir, so the Choir can be a better example of action. After all, it was the Actions of Jesus that got Him a hearing for His words, not vise versa. Its hand and glove. But actiions are so needed...and sharing our thoughts building up the Body, just makes our example in action so much much more effective.

Heart Of Ministry

The heart of ministry is to give people what they need, but also only what they can take.
Jesus often times would not do miracles because of little or no faith. They couldn't take it. It would have been in violation of their will and therefore against the Fathers will also.
Many of us today are pushy, dogmatic, imposing our will on others. We know what each other needs and we are bound and determined to give it to them even when they aren't ready for it, and don't want it. This is violation of their not having faith, and not wanting it. This is not love. It is immature at the least, devilish and demonic at the extreme.
The heart of ministry is to proceed with caution, with sensitivity, and enough maturity to know what people need, and wait until they are ready to take it from us. Remember love does not insist on its own way. 1Cor.13
