MY LUNCHBOX
Try to don a light-hearted grin before reading.

It's difficult task trying to, in some way, have a positive effect on someone through the ether of my blog. For some I think that on the surface I appear too young to bother with. For others I think, I'm too...male. For some maybe it's a matter of style...others still, maybe don't want to learn... just teach. Or preach. Sometimes screech. Many simply sneak in- and sneak again out- without a sound, kinda like a quick trip to a lunch time drive-thru or even a supermarket free sample. A handful maybe have tasted something they like and have adopted a regular dine-in approach; many even bring a nice dish to pass for all the other pop-ins. They're good peoples. Some bring meat, others sweets...but thankfully very little pork. You know- I'm not a fan. Now, I personally don't dine on swine...but what others do on their own blog is their business, I suppose. You just won't see it coming out of my kitchen Jack. And since it's not welcome at my table; I won't go to others and pass around something I myself wont eat, that just wouldn't be courteous. That's my style and that's how I live, and serve. Both literally and figuratively. But no matter the case...I'm thankful for you all...I know everybody has got to eat. So yeah, go where you are fed. And if you're ever in the mood for some eats and you're cruisin by...check "us" out; pop-ins welcome.
Pigs are not.

What about medically retired law enforcement officers, are they welcome since you say the pigs are not?

Well said young grasshopper!
How did your interview go?
Oy you should eat something more than a carrot you'll waste away.
Did you wear the blue tie to the interview? Of course you got the job you're the best candidate...but then tante is very biased.

See my poem if you need bread and butter today, SB.

I always feel mundane when I put 'God bless you'.
So... may our Creator see it fit to trickle favor upon your head.

Well, I don't know how you do it but you usually manage to put out a veritable banquet or buffet of insightful things to say. I'm sure most of the folks who come aboard dine rather nicely when they book passage upon the Midnight Ocean luncheon/dinner cruise... those who pay usually do so with compliments and thoughtful responses.

I think most hungry bloggers would agree your fare is much more palatable and preferable to the mysterious pot luck or the fast/junk-food of other less appetizing blogs... -even if there are no bacon-bits @ your salad bar. I think we will all do just fine without the swine- LoL

I have learned a lot here. I save your words for my more inspired moods. Whenever I want a taste of reality...at least my kind...I know I will find it here. Not too young my friend...not at all. You were never seen that way. I know what you have come through...at least in part and I marvel at what the Lord speaks to and through you. Forgive me if my visits are not daily. I am a single mom with 5 kids.

I won't say much of the latter...except to say I have chosen to be quiet. Peace is the best way.

Ahhhh...that tastes pretty sweet sky...thanks for sharing. That was a clever 'bit'! Yeah you know once people get away from the pig for awhile they almost always realize that they don't really miss it or need it. Ok now I don't even really know what I am referring to any longer... I've tangled myself in a charlottes web of analogies and obscure references...oh dear. Where's the exit.

Well yes you're certainly one that reserved seating is always available for! The reality is served medium-rare here and that's just one of those things that you either love it or you hate it, I suppose. Lol.
Please don't apologize for anything I know that you must be infinitely more busy than I am. Frankly I'm honored that you have time to visit at all since your time must be quite a precious commodity! I couldn't even manage 5 house plants at once.

Exit? Just fly away. I'm glad I stumbled in here. I just pulled a huge carrot out of my garden today....could only eat half of it!
The "plateful" of cartrot and pea was almost "obscure" but nicely humble and plain. Now I'm going to check your refrigerator.

Well good luck finishing that carrot!
Meat loaf with shredded carrot is good. Or maybe some stew or soup...hmmmm.
