 Everyone hurry...before Zie Germans get here! Conspiracy abounds...I heard on the wire today that Fiji is covertly planning on drilling to the other-side of the globe to relocate its island there...thus disturbing the axis of the earth in such a way that all the polar bears invade the U.S. and establish an iron-fisted rule with reindeer as SS-like foot soldiers. This will- no doubt- usher in the One World System. And yes, they will have laser's attached to their antlers. So far today I've read of no less than 6 conspiracy theories...and none of them were in the least compatible. So unless anyone has a parallel universe conspiracy theory handy- we have ourselves a rather serious math problem to deal with here. 1 Truth and 6 theories; and that's just a drop in the Ocean that is Conspiracy. The problem with all these 2000 yrs of end times conspiracy theories is that when they DONT come to pass, it shows they are not from G-d. And it helps slay the souls of the little children because they then think all of Christianity is bogus and reserved for the mentally ill! Who would want to take part in defaming G-d like that? Who would want to take part in making the outstretched arms of our LORD, seem as the gesture of a madman? In Revelation, John was asked "what is the meaning of this?" what did John answer? He said "Thou knowest." G-d's Word is Holy and True to the last jot and tilde. Bogus conspiracy theories, false prophesies, and those who so readily lust after and propagate them are wholly harmful to G-d, Christ, the Holy Spirit...and ALL His children. I encourage everyone to reread Job starting at chapter 38 WHERE THE LORD SPEAKS... as I too will. After chapter upon chapter of Job's "buddies" preaching smooth sounding jibberish to him the LORD had enough! 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Job 38:2 Who [is] this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Job 38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. Job 38:4 ¶ Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Job 38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Job 38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; Job 38  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Job 38:8 Or [who] shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, [as if] it had issued out of the womb? -------------------------------------------- Satan was a liar since the beginning- and the father of liars. "Surely you will not die." Isn't there a commandment about taking false-witness? Doesn't it say liars DO NOT inherit eternal life? What about false prophets? I remember Christ saying something rather uncomfortable would happen to those who lead the little ones astray... If you're willing to stake your eternal salvation on your prophesy, by all means...happy sailing. But, know the stakes folks. This is no-limit poker your playing and you're going all in...by saying this is what WILL HAPPEN! A "maybe" or a "perhaps" -perhaps could be the difference between playin another hand and living eternity in the streets. (see how i did that). If you are humble enought to tell the children to take it with a grain of salt- they likely will, and if it fails you defame yourself...and not G-d. Hmmmm, seems like propagating the fiji conspiracy might not be in my best interest after- all. Want to give good counsel and advice? Repent, watch, and live not by bread alone- but by EVERY WORD OF G-d. Watch. Watch. Watch. Dont miss the thief because you were expecting a polar bear. Watch. "Could you not watch one hour with Me?" Pen O' Pen! I write 'G-d' out of reverence and respect. It's just a personal descision that has become second nature. I typically only reserve the full word for quoting scripture. It is done by some people to aviod any unintentional heresy and help prevent confusing readers about personal thoughts about the Word, and the Word itself. It is intended to show that my thoughts are not on the higher plane as G-d's thoughts are...and my thoughts cannot be compared to His thoughts. Gb, sabrefire  PenelopeCaptive of Hope

I never really "got" that G-d thing. I think more respect would be shown to flat out write HIS whole name. He's been ripped apart forever - dontcha think. I'd like to keep HIM whole in ALL ways. And that's just my 2 cents worth and my very humble opinion and the way I think. Everyone is entitled to show respect how they feel. Just sharing how I feel about that whole incomplete spelling thingy. Oh and on that whole shaved, smoothed, spiffy, shiny baby's butt thing. I think that look is fabulous. Love it! Sin is sin. I know ppl so wrapped up in it that they don't even think their walk with Jesus is that important. That's what's most impotant! That we know Him and He knows us. All other things will be added if we are seeking the Kingdom first. And "watch" meant for the disciples to watch that they fell not into temptation....i understand the scriptures to say...in the garden when Jesus prayed. But at least you care enough to try in your own way! Let me bring this post back on topic by saying that personally I believe there IS a conspiracy in operation which is preparing the world for the One World Government and One World Religion of the AntiChrist and False Prophet as described in Revelation 13. The strands in this conspiracy are clear to see in the world around us: 1. Globalisation of the world economy i.e. nations being forced to become less and less self-sufficient in economic terms so that the whole world 'knits together' as one huge economy. 2. The increased importance being placed on 'global warming' and 'saving the environment' which demands a united world response. {I am not saying all of the reasons given for this are false, just that they are being used as an excuse for imposing measures that have the effect of controlling citizens' behaviour}. 3. The spectre of global terrorism being ever placed before us {again I am not saying there is no threat but that many governments are using the 'terrorist threat' as an excuse for passing laws that infringe individual liberty}. 4. The move for worldwide unity not only among Christian denominations but also between ALL religions in the world {and its ally 'political correctness' which makes it increasingly difficult to make any assertion that some things are 'right' and others are 'wrong'}. It was through reading the books of the New Zealander the late Barry Smith that I became alerted to many of these things. Since waking up to what is happening it is very clear that this New World Order conspiracy is not a theory but a very widespread reality indeed. Certainly I do not believe every 'crackpot' story that I hear but the overall trend of world developments is very obviously in this direction. Well it's not much of a conspiracy if it was written of in Rev 13...2000 yrs ago as you pointed out. One would have to be spiritually blind (probably physically blind too) to not see these things unfolding. Globalization and terror and the like, are actual physical issues that academia -outside the sphere of religion debate and study everyday- on virtually every college campus. And as you said they are clear to see around us... The only conspiracy I see is who people believe is behind it. If you know the Word you should know the Truth, that is if you're gifted ears to hear...and eyes to see.

As Christians we are of course aware that Satan can do nothing unless God allows it, that God remains in control, and that the Anti Christ's reign will be short and ended by the return of Jesus Christ. But in being aware of what is happening we will be ready for what is to come and be well placed to be God's agents of rescue to many in the troubles ahead. I quite agree that those of us who know the truth know all about the conspiracy, and who is behind it. The problem is that almost no-one in the world, Christians included, actually believes the warnings about Anti Christ that are contained in the Bible. Satan is an arch deceiver and has got the whole world involved in his conspiracy, although most of those involved don't realise it and are themselves deceived. A group of people working with one mind, in one accord, planning to purposely turn over their power to one person who happens to be a servant of the enemy. Sounds like a satanic conspiracy to me. There are MANY people who don't believe in the possibility of the One World government, religion and economy which the Bible prophesies. And Jesus tells us in Matthew 24 to watch and look for the signs so we know that His Return is near. So I am all for discussing them and letting other believers know. We are obeying our Savior and Master when we do so. And furthermore, so we won't be deceived.

There are so many fear mongers in the religious world who will say any number of things to draw attention to themselves regarding these things... I think those people suck! I am not 100% convinced that these are the end times. Things are bad but things have been bad before... I saw much of the economical stuff that happened in the 70's that's happening now... there has always been famine and disaster- none of this is new. It may be the end of the world as we know it but I don't know if that means this is the literal end of the world. I know we can trust God regardless of all the conspiracy theories and He has instructed me over and over again to "fear not". It determined the missiles were identical to a version of the Shahab missile first demonstrated in Iran in 1998 that has a known range of 746 miles (1,200 km).
