What's the Hubbub about Free-Will???

Each man and woman is a whole world unto themselves. We must govern thoughts, balance emotions, quell or fan desires, etc, etc. All work in concert to build within ourselves the infrastructure of a life all their own. We were bestowed free will by the Creator, and will someday be judged by the world we create within ourselves, with this most profound gift.
Just as when a married man looks lustfully upon another women, is he already an adulterer. For the world within himself has gone awry. But, bless G-d we have free will and can stymie the attack before it leaves our world within and pollutes the world without. We are all born as the masters of our world within.
And you've been entrusted with this gift of free will- and no other creature has.
It's only when the Creator dwells within us can we work towards peace. For only when Christ is the bedrock of our internal infrastructure within will we be successful in withstanding the daily barrage of missile attacks coming from without.
And only by our freely relinquishing our will and placing in its stead the will of G-d, can we take the peace of our internal world and begin to transform the external world. And only by each and every soul doing this, will perfect peace descend on earth.
For Christ is the Prince of Peace, both of our individual interior worlds and our collective exterior world. Therefore let us use this wholly precious gift of free will- and freely offer up our own will as a sacrifice to the one who bestowed it. Then let us ask for the only thing more precious than free will...THE WILL OF G-D.
But, what do you think???
Peace and wisdom friends,

True, it's funny how we fight God for control of our lives, sometimes without realizing it. It's like we can't get it through our heads that He IS the best choice of who should guide our lives. Good post!

Hebrews 5-10
7During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered 9and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him 10and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Even Jesus had to learn obedience, why should we be any different?
It is the Father's desire that we should all be conformed to the image of Jesus. So we will be faced with whatever hardship the Father deems necessary to bring us to that place.

Blessings!

We are what we believe we are.

When our inner world is at peace then our outer world is usually at peace as well... and when we ask God to align our will with His perfect will for us then we are able to walk the path that He has set before us- giving our lives in service to Him so that other's can benefit from God's Love in our lives.

We can lay our fears aside, walk on with joy, and with confidence knowing He will never leave us or forsake us.

We all have free Will but the best thing we can do with our free will is trust the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and surrender it to God's will... we have to lose our life to find it.

God's love reaches all- growing means thinking outside the box... love one another

"See, I have set before you life and goodness, and death and evil... Life and death I have set before you, blessing and curse... And you shall choose life..." (Deuteronomy 30:15-19).
Let us CHOOSE life,
