The Corrie Ten Boom House in Holland You all should come to Holland and visit the house where Corrie grew up, hid the Jews and was arrested. The house is still there, still currently a watch & clock shop and also a Museum, where you can learn about her family, life and that her father was already praying for the PEACE of JERUSALEM in 1800!!! The Ten Booms were a wonderful family of God. I like very much what Corrie says in this poem: "My life is but a weaving between God and me, I do not choose the colors, He works so steadily. Oft'times He weaves in sorrow, and I in foolish pride, Forget He sees the upper, and I the underside. Not till the loom is silent, and the shuttles cease to fly Will God enroll the canvas, and explain the reason why. The dark threats are as needful in the Weavers skillful Hand, as the threats of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned." |

I'd love to ! I've read quite a bit of Corrie's wonderful writings. She was a wonderful lady....and tramp for the Lord ! Don't know if I'll ever make it there, but Holland sounds interesting ! I'm just tired of travelling....and getting older now. Thanks for the post !!! It's always great to reflect on Corrie ! What a dad and family she came from !!!

I would love to see her house. She was such a remarkable and inspirational woman! The story I remember the best about Corrie Ten Boom took place many years after her time in the concentration camp when she was giving her testimony at a small church and came face to face with one of her former captors. The former SS Guard came up to her and extended his hand while asking for forgiveness. Can you imagine? She turned it over to God right them and forgave the man! It totally blows me away. If I could be 1/4 the woman she was.... man oh man!
