My Will is not Always His Way but He Will be There With Me and His Plan is Better Anyway!

Hi, all - I've been taking a week off, emotionally at least, from blogging. My week was over-filled with *real life* that seemed to be all I could manage.

The good news is, I survived, I'm here. There are some real challenges out there, aren't there? LOL

My testimony is that I would not have survived the week without the help of a couple true friends in the Lord who ministered to me when I reached out, and of course without the help of my "partner-in-prayer," my bud, with whom I am slogging through a pretty heavy *relationship* assignment from the Lord.

Things I've learned: When following God...
  1. you don't always get to do what you want;
  2. God is still there & His plan is for you is always good;
  3. He always has help - a way through - available to you.
But then this morning... God really ministered to me *big* in church, about where I am, where I'm going and that what I've been doing for 5+ years will succeed. Yet, it was necessary for me to reach out when I got to a place too hard for me.

His plan is for us? We are not *supposed* to be able to do this on our own, without Him or without each other.

E'nuff said. God is good. MEGA good. Supernaturally! And friends are good. Really.

I missed you guys this week. Glad you are all here!

Glad you dropped by. Say "hey," okay? (I'm in North Carolina. We say "hey" here.) And If you're new here, I am very pleased to meet you! How about pull up a comment and introduce yourself?

I'm off to read your blogs.... See ya!

Remember: My Will is not Always His Way but He Will be There With Me and His Plan is Better Anyway!

There's always failure if we do things our way. One of my favorite verse is: "TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND LEAN NOT WITH YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING; IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT." ( Proverbs 3:5-6 )

Glad to see you back, Drae.
God Bless you.

" We are fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139:14a

AngelicHope - thanks - you nailed it! You are reminding me of a post I was writing when He said: LIFE WITHOUT TESTS WOULD BE A GAME CALLED FOR RAIN. Whoa. See: There Is No Testimony Without First a Test

I'm with you. I don't want to be delivered from my tests. I want to *pass* them, be changed into His image, and give Him glory. Hey, I'm so glad you are here. Thanks for stopping by!

Yah, thanks, Marilyn. It stuck out to me as well. He's been talking to me a lot on this subject and it seems we *hafta* learn to love each other and reach out to each other and lean on each other. Room to grow! Thanks, Marilyn!

Pat that has been a major verse in my life this year - the confessing your faults part, and especially the *pray one for another* part. God bless you!

Levs - you hit on another thing that has been big for me this year: His will, His ways. Time for to do these things, isn't it. Thanks for bringing me back to these verses, they are such a wonderful reminder and promise. Good to see you around as well! Thanks for stopping by.
