I've been here just slightly over a year now and remember the first few blogs I encountered, began to frequent and leave comment!!! Wow what fun times!!! Odd as it may seem I've not chatted with many here, but recently I chatted with none other than..... Didn't know exactly what to expect, you know, the usual matching up of one's voice with their pic and in this case blog voice!!! But I was truly amazed by Rod. I can't say not what I expected, because I didn't know what to expect, but seriously, he's a gentle speaking, ordinary kind of a guy, a true gentleman.....and yes, he's funny, too!! He's a delight to talk with and I have to warn all you ladies out there......if you get the chance......you're not gonna wanna hang up the phone.........hmmmmmmmm........I think there truly is power in that tail of his!!!  It's just so nice to actually chat with fellow bloggers! Meeting in person is even more awesome, but not easily arranged as most of us live so far away from each other. I've had more recent opportunity to chat with other fellow bloggers but won't identify them here because I don't know how they'd feel about it.......but with Rod......I know he's cool!!! Thank God we do have this medium here at BigChurch to initially communicate before we actually communicate!!!

YES I completely agree...I have spoken with several bc friends but Have NOT had the blessing to meet anyone at all. I welcome the opportunity to speak with them all if possible at some point.

that is so cool Lisa he does seem like an ok guy.I am like you talkin on the phone is nice , I have a few men I talk on the phone with , one is my crush guy , that u know of. I wish I owned a jet I would be flying all over the world. I so love meeting ppl Yahweh is my light and salvation.

I think theres only 2 people from Blogs that I have talked to on the phone, One is Kate33 and __P__ There are several people I would LOVE to talk to.. I'm just sooo crap at keeping contact, its unreal...Lol..

I would have to agree with you, Lisa. Rod is a great guy. I was blessed with an opportunity to meet him a few months ago and he is just like his blog!! He's funny, sweet, gentle, and really hates yellards!! I'm glad you had a chance to actually speak with him! He whispers through the storm......"I am with you....."

He is a sweetheart Lisa, and a true friend. He's called and lifted me up many a time, when I'm down. I've been blessed to talk to several people, though honestly I don't do a lot of 'phone time' - I'm more of an emailer/blogger. And I've been blessed to meet a few bloggers in person as well . . . Rod, Hellen, Jeff - and some other local folks who aren't real active on the blogs. I'm hoping we can have another BC get together, even on a small scale, where more of us can meet in person. Susan aka Red God gives the very best to those who leave the choices to Him. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...to Him be the glory. Rod is an absolute darling, yip, we talked while I was still in South Africa, Lol, even more incentive to make it quick, but I agree, you do not wanna hang up with him on the other end. I disagree however on the yellards, he actually loves them...  Going on a road trip Thanks giving ideas

Yes, me too, I've been talking earlier with someone here on BC on Skype... but I won't tell whom!! I've never felt for a talking marathon!!! Well, LOL!, one isn't supposed to "get married" just by talking??? RIGHT??? OR.................. that others should get kinda "jealous" or something, RIGHT again??? Then, what is there wrong to talk??? Aren't we after all friends??? Is it that much different from writing? Just some thoughts that struck me lately!

. I have talked with BC people on the phone from Africa, one, and Australia, two, it was my pleasure to do so and a real treat for me !!! I have talked to other bloggers in North America, IM'd off of BC with a dozen or so and have met a dozen or so in person. I have even seen some from a distance. I love meeting people any way I am able to. It makes a lot of this more real than one's imagination melded with electronics. Some of you people probably do exist in the real world? . . Saying I am sorry is WORTHLESS without real repentance. True or FALSE ? Without a personal and intimate relationship with God, how can you ever realize the true identity and person of God? Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you. This time is short, serve Him well, serving all. Without exception. Know ? Yes ? ? .

I haven't talked to anyone here...well except for annemarie (windsage) cause we've been friends for almost 20 years. But other than her....nope. I've only even emailed with...umm...MAYBE 4 or 5 people at the most ....do I stink or something? But it can get expensive, because like I said, for some reason chatting with blog buddies, ya just wanna chat and chat and chat!!! Over the years of 'lurking' around BC - I've talked to someone in NZ and we tried to talk computer to computer on yahoo IM, but his wasn't working properly, he could hear me and everything in the background, including the cricket on the tellie, but I couldn't hear him - that's another cross country way. I've spoken with an old time blogger who's from the US, but now lives in Sydney, we still email a bit. More recently though I've spoken with and met Clay, spoke with Louise and forgotten him name a blogger from Wollongong, but hasn't been around for a long time either and spoken with about another five or so men from here that aren't bloggers and met up with some of them, which has been a really interesting journey. Been a lot of fun, wouldn't mind speaking with a few others, it does make people seem more 'real' somehow. One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. Psalm 27:4
