I've been thinking about how our lives are so full with work and other obligations.....even some of us single people have children.....I know I don't, but wow, having kids and dating, too!!! That's got to be tough, for more reasons than just one! As much as we'd like to find someone and eventually settle down with them, where, oh, where do we ever find the time to date anybody? I know for myself, my job certainly has gotten in the way of my dating or even just hanging out with friends and having fun for the last past few years. I really felt I needed to do something about it because truly, though I'm a bit shy at times, I am quite social!! I'm changing position status and taking weekend training for several weeks in order to do so. In addition, I'm working double the three days of the week that I'm not in training. On top of that, I'm looking for a new place to live....possibly buying my own home!!! YIKES....I'm swamped!! Do you think a guy is going to understand or just drop me like a hot potato??? How about you? Can you make time to date or are you kind of overloaded too? |

Lisa, Time is always an issue. My thing is God told me not to date anyone at this time until he prepares me.He only has one choice for me so I'm really having to trust him.I've had opportunities and wonderful men have approached me but it's not his timing yet.Everyone is different but when the right time comes I think time will come too. Lisa, Time is always an issue. My thing is God told me not to date anyone at this time until he prepares me.He only has one choice for me so I'm really having to trust him.I've had opportunities and wonderful men have approached me but it's not his timing yet.Everyone is different but when the right time comes I think time will come too. GBY At least I know for me a bit more free time is just ahead.....I'm looking at it as a reward for what I feel I've been missing out on!! Good luck with God's plans for you!!! They will be awesome!!

Oh, I have time! When I was married, I did nothing but BE married. I was there to serve him and my child. After he left, I found out how great it is to have friends and to do things for me. Of course, my daughter is still my priority, but she leaves in a few weeks for college (THAT will be a blog!). I found out that it's important for me to be me. That will always include friends, doing things, going places, and hopefully one day a fab hubby. So, YES I have the time!!

You think you don't have time now!... lol what till you buy that house... lol Home are the biggest time consumer.. lol I'm excited about getting my own home....actually it's more like an office....where I'll sleep occasionally HAHAHA!! It's a very, very small house, the inside is done except for initial cleaning and painting of a few rooms. Other than that, I don't know how a house can swallow me whole....hehehe!!! There's only one bathroom and all the water lines are located right together. I've got me some brothers that know how to fix everything.....so if anything goes wrong I've got five chances to get one of them to fix it.....my dad, of course would be my sixth option, I've got three good neighbors, who are all handy around the house.....so if I run out of options I guess then I'll have to beg on the streets!!! HEHEHE It's got a new roof, new dishwasher, washer and dryer...the septic is working well and all heating zones, two of them are in perfect working order!!! I'm going to purchase a new refrigerator and a stove.....I'm all set.....what am I forgetting???? Keeping it clean.......hey, I'm a girl....who doesn't mind keeping a home spotless!!! Besides....how much am I gonna mess it up??? Snow removal you say.......got it covered.....brothers, remember!!! Mowing the lawn.....if I can't do it or don't wanna.....I've got nine nephews who wouldn't mind earning a buck.....and I mean just one single, solitary buck!!! Whoooooo Hooooo!! So all I see is relaxing, relaxing, relaxing!!! Gee, and to think I could invite you over to relax a bit some time

As for time for dating . . . ever since I "simplified" my job a couple years ago, I find I have a lot more time. For everything - family, friends, and yes, dating! It goes in spells though - right now I'm on a roll with a few would be suitors hanging around. I'm not husband hunting at the moment, so just enjoying being 'sought after'. Two bouquets last weekend! hee hee . . . Two options this weekend . . . I say c'mon out and visit ladies - there's plenty to go around!!
