Actions speak louder than words

I have always believed actions speak louder than words - words can be fleeting - meaningless at times..

Yet last night, i found myself in a situation, not of my own making - but left to pick up the pieces of someone elses mess.

I resent that.

It was awkward and embarassing.

And left me feeling very confused.

I am across the world from you but for the 24 hour time period everything was out of sorts. What was the deal with last night? Man, oh man, very confusing and out of the blue, totally unexpected. The worst is when they make YOU feel bad for something THEY did. Twist it and then you have guilt for feeling the way you did but you would have never gone there if THEY didn't do what they did. LOL Does that make sense?? However, the words came today but I wish yesterday never happened myself. I have no explanation for it either but todays another day. Maybe this huricane Ike blew bad wind up our way. People, can't live with them, can't live without them.

Sorry to hear you had a bad night also.

I am going to leave you with this that will hopefully get you on the road to a lighter, more happier feelings inside.

"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." (Matthew 6:14-15)

"If you forgive someone's sins, they're gone for good. If you don't forgive sins, what are you going to do with them?" (John 20:23)

"For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our trespasses, sending them away, letting them go completely and forever]; and You are abundant in mercy and loving-kindness to all those who call upon You" (Psalm 86:5).

Many people have a wrong definition of forgiveness. One wrong idea is that you cannot forgive someone until you "feel" like forgiving him or her. Forgiveness is not a feeling.

Certainly Jesus did not "feel" like forgiving when He was on the cross. Nevertheless He said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34).

Doug Easterday says, "If you are waiting for a feeling in order to forgive, you'll have a long wait--forever. You will not feel like forgiving. Your feelings can be your enemy."

Blessings Kate for a more "Son"shiney day.

Peace,
Ginny

It is sometimes that in doing so, our actions speak louder than words to someone else, in the manner and demeanor that we do it in.

What do we tell others when we do what you have done for someone else?

I wouldn't have got into a situation either except it came to me and I had to agonise and decide over it...(a learning curve indeed before God)...yet the situation is now blamed on me kind of...sigh...I'm still talking to God about it...lots to learn!
Hugs to you ...hope that you'll have a more 'sunny' day...

Man can make many plans...BUT it is the Lord who will direct his paths....
