Yes !! and JESUS is the one who said these very words ! "Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil !" John 6v70 NIV This Word caused me to stumble and stop! Why?? Because I thought it so very, very strange that after such a profound remark from JESUS, that absolutely NO ONE said anything. What? did they not hear what HE had just said? Were there minds elsewhere? Why did not one of them ask who did He mean? Can you imagine? How many times do we read the Word of God, and miss something so very important? How many times do we hear a thing, yet totally miss hearing it? This was not a recent discovery for me. No, I had seen this at least a decade and a half ago. Reading the Word of God should be done with savour as a splendid meal set before you. One time in Oklahoma, while some friends and I were attending a crusade, I became very hungry. They were not selling any food at this affair, only soft drinks. I saw other people with food, and asked where I could get some. They said, down the road about so far. A male friend walked with me, he being a bit hungry as well. We never did find the MacDonald's, but some gentlemen directed us to eat at the restaurant across the street. It was serving Greek food. We ordered our meal and it came. We prayed and gave thanks. It seemed so good, I was moaning with every bit because it was just what I needed. The brother, wolfed down his burger, and then seemed quite embarrassed by my vocal display of pleasure over this wonderful meal. I didn't have a burger, I had the Greek food. This is just how we should savour every morsel, taking our time, to enjoy and be satisfied and pleasured and delighted with the Word of GOD. Vincit Veritas~Truth Conquers |

I have only visited Oklahoma. I have been to both Tulsa & OKC, to attend Christian functions. Michael, the Word has morsels that seem almost hidden. If we don't take time we somehow miss them.
