A Nation of Ruth's ....Part VII

Upon Naomi’s return to Israel she tells her friends not to call her Naomi
(‘my pleasantness’), but to call her Mara (‘bitterness’), because the Lord has dealt bitterly with her in exile (Ruth 1:20).

God uses ‘Ruth’ to restore Naomi to be God’s pleasantness in a mutually loving relationship.
And so the Church and Israel together will show the world the love they have for one another. The world will be able to see modelled in this
special love that the prejudices and hatred that separates nations and ethnic groups are wrong. The world will see in this unlikely love affair that God is pouring out love on the Church and Israel, the two folds of His flock.

And the world will respond with revival! Ruth’s act of love for Naomi is nothing less than the expression of her love for Naomi’s God, Who has
given her so much grace.

With Great Love,
