"Many Are Building Kingdoms Unto Themselves"

When I was praying and asking the Lord where HE wanted me to attend worship services, HE said, "Many are building kingdoms unto themselves and not the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ." HE used to say a lot of times, "Cast out the bondwoman and her child." The bondwoman represents that which the flesh has made. Issac is the son of the spirit. I believe that HE speaks of the church. I see too many people writhing and screaming and yelling to get worked up. They believe they are touching God, but are merely reaching a fleshly state and perhaps a god of the fleshly realm is responding. People don't wish to wait on the Lord. They think they are worshipping the Lord. How many are seeking to find out what HE wants and how HE wants to be worshipped? If the church would worship in spirit and truth, waiting on the Lord, we may become the "Body of Christ" that was resurrected with the head. The fullness of Christ working in the earth would know how to make the enemies into a footstool. Hiz4Ever P.S. Have you read the book, "The Final Quest", by Rick Joyner. He has a vision that made real sense to me. I could not put the book down until I finished it. I have never done that with any other book. I guess it is true. Deep calls unto deep. Even in people that are sincerely trying to live their life for Christ, . . . flesh is still a powerful thing. Yet, of course, we have the power to overcome--- because of Him. Thank goodness He is strong when we are weak. I am very mindful that whatever good of me--- is from above for the Word says so. I am also mindful that nothing I have or am gifted with is mine----- that it's all His, including me and my life. Our human nature (and the enemy) wants to make us believe we have some element of control or "right" to do this or that. Agh, but that is human nature. *If we all did what seemed or felt "natural" and good, we could very quickly descend to the great pits of destruction. & Much of the world has----- We only have to hear the latest news story to hear of someone somewhere and some heinous, "unthinkable" thing, and wonder how . . . why . . . Chaos in motion. Where the deepest, darkest tendancies of sinful man reaches new levels of the perverse and horrendous. & Still so many just going on about business, barely noticing at all. Too busy trying to get that promotion. Too busy caravanning kids to the local soccer field. Too busy wrapped up in what actually ARE issues here. & Even when some Christians are blessed . . . even some of those unfortunately, remember God as it happens, but quickly it becomes about the "blessing" and not the "Blessor". & If not careful, not mindful to keep God first and foremost in everything------ it is all too easy to do. Easy to get wrapped in the events of the day, and before long God is on the backburner. Then maybe God is someone we verbally or spiritually "visit" every now and again, and then perhaps go through a period and then "suddenly remember" "Man! When did I read my bible last?! When did I pray last?!?!" & Those preaching "Name it and Claim it", prosperity . . . & that's ALL they preach . . . Yes, God wants us to prosper . . . but prospering is not only money. It is growing in God, living a "good life", a multitude of different blessings. I thank God for your writing here. Believe it was truly motivated by the Holy Spirit. I always try to remember and tell everyone along the way----- anything good in me does come from above. & If I am used to pray over, whatever---------- that it is God not me. Very mindful. Hi Hiz, I think that many here would find Rick Joyner not "acceptable", but I have read the Final Quest. What hit my heart was that I read it right after leaving a ministry and ordination in that ministry last year. I had found my way back to God through that ministry, and never guessed that I would one day find myself leaving. I don't have the book in front of me, but when Rick is greeted by the one who had an opportunity to be a brother to so many who could have been guided to God through him, and failed because he was building his empire ( in the name of the Father, of course) to take the time with them, to be as Jesus was with those who sought Him...my heart said....yes, this is R** ( my former senior minister). This is part of the reason I am not a part of a church now. I would love to be in fellowship, but I must seek that on a case by case basis...not in a church or a ministry that is veering from God, and toward the things of the flesh and of earth. Bless you in your walk with Him Men never commit evil so fully and joyfully as when they do it for religious convictions.

I left a church recently (one I had been a part of for almost 5 years) for some of the same reasons that you and Sienna talk about. And am not feeling like I really fit into the different churches I have been visiting. It's interesting to know that I'm not alone in this. I need to get my Rick Joyner book out and re-read it. I just opened it to page 142 and this jumped out "If you do not know my love, then My power will corrupt you." Hmmm!! How can we not praise Him - Marilyn How can we NOT praise Him - Marilyn

Bless you in your walk with Him I got a little mixed up on whose ministry you were talking about. Were you working for RJ's ministry? I haven't followed his ministry, just read the book. I read your profile and I myself prefer to talk about Jesus/Yeshua and the Word and HIS Kingdom and love. The past few days, I have been singing the song; "The LORD is building Jerusalem, The Lord is building Jerusalem, HE's gathering together the outcast of Israel, healing broken hearts and binding up their wounds. The Lord is building, the Lord is building up Jerusalem." HalleluYaH! Right now the Jews are in "wheat harvest", and in a few more days they will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost. Seems we "Ruth's", who are seeking to leave our homeland and follow after the "One True GOD", are getting "networked" together. The Lord wants vessels that HE can "flow" through. A vessel that HE can work HIS "ways" through. Waiting on the LORD is required! But Today HE is saying..."You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites, go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah(desert plains), in the mountains, in the foothills, in the Negev(dry place) and along the coast, to the land of the Caananities(land of Cana; where your water will be turned to wine) and to Lebanon(white~purity) as far as the great river Euphrates(to break forth). See, I have given you land. Go in and take possession of the land that the Lord swore HE would give to your fathers--to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--and to their descendants after them." DEUT 1: 6-8 NIV* "See, the Lord your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the Lord, the God of your fathers told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Ouch ! Sorry Hiz.....for the misunderstanding. No, the ministry I was a part of was not related in any way to RJ's Morningstar ministry. Blessings! Men never commit evil so fully and joyfully as when they do it for religious convictions.
