The Gift of Love

I believe we need to pray for "the gift of LOVE", and then all the others gifts and the offices of the 5-fold ministry will operate in fullness without measure. Many people limit their reading to 1Cor 13. Chapter 12 has much to say that links with chapter 13. With the gift of Love working in us, we will draw all men unto us and we will love the unloveable and reach the unreachable. The gift of love is selfless, because it is God flowing through us. Without Love, we can slay the innocent with the words of our mouth, even though we believe what we are saying, if not said in Love, it can destroy. The gift of Love will also tame the tongue and subdue the flesh. May we all receive the "Gift of LOVE" from the LORD, that we may draw all mankind unto HIM. This is wonderful and I agree wholeheartedly - I believe that love is the basis to all that God is. And when we receive such a gift we should open it with glee - like a child on Christmas morning. Some are very good at giving but aren't very good at receiving - so they never open the gift and leave it sitting there on the shelf looking pretty. We might need to pray for those as well. How can we not praise Him - Marilyn LOVE covers a multitude of sins! LOVE never fails us or others! LOVE forgives all offenses! LOVE seeks to heal not hurt! Let us all ask for and receive FIRST the gift of LOVE, that when we ask for the rest of His treasuries we will bring Glory and Honour to HIS name and HIS KINGDOM!! I just saw a new thing here!
