Navigating The Soul

Time tells all things, so I have found. That is why I was merely asking for time to get to know one another before chasing off to meet a 'stranger'. The heart is a very complicated instrument. It doesn't come with navigating instructions. Each person we meet can lead us a wholly different direction. Sometimes sailing unchartered waters is an exciting and thrilling experience, and other times it can end up in dangerous storms and be even deadly. I think I have had more than my share of storms in life. I have found there is an anchor in the boat and I like to toss it out and reflect upon the quiet and serene places that I find. Most of them are secluded, and some solitary, but the calmness of these times helps strengthen me for future events. Hiz4Ever† Vincit Veritas~Truth Conquers |

Watch and pray... but post! lol We need something to watch and pray for too! As for the storms of the heart, Jesus is the only anchor in the storm... and there are always storms on the horizon. If it wasn't this way we wouldn't look forward with anticipation towards heaven!

Good weather all year round is much better than any bad weather. It does not mean you appreciate it any less. Give me Hawaii. Snow stinks. Overcast days for months on end are depressing.

We can live in a sunny place and still be depressed. Sometimes the clouds are over our heart or mind. I hate summer where I live. It is hot with high humidity. YUCK! Have you ever been to Hawaii? Hi Hiz4Ever. I feel I can really identify with your post....I've asked the Lord to help me when my heart was captured by what I believed to be love. And, this is what He revealed to me... "You have lost your focus and began to replace me with another". HE IS OUR 1ST LOVE.....He has given us hearts to love one another but, we need at those times when our hearts are so full of love to make a conscious effort to KEEP HIM IN HIS RIGHTFUL PLACE. I think my heart did come with navigating instructions, just took me awhile to figure it out. You know, when all else fails, then look at the owner's manual. Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth LOL....true tho.....
