tired...

I was running all day yesterday with the boys and their friends. We didn't get home till well after midnight. I preached this morning at the church where I pastored. Awesome service! Back there again tonight and then next Sunday for homecoming.

I leave in the morning for Cincinnati. It seems the speed of life is increasing. The down time between cycles of busy-ness is getting shorter and shorter. I can't seem to get caught up on my rest.

Appreciate your prayers!

No rest for the wicked, eh? JK!! Sounds like a good kind of busy!! Just be sure to not let the alone time with God suffer! Easier said than done, I know!

Hey, bro! (I can only talk to you like that here in blogland! LO God stopped me last year and made me see that I had to give myself a day off - that this body wasn't created to run 24/7 - and that doesn't mean sitting on the porch in a rocker studying His word! That means naps! movies! hikes! novels! friends! stretched out in the lounge chair! You get the idea. Time off, my friend. Time off. He's serious about this rest concept, ya know. Naturally and spiritually. But I hear ya. Life at warp speed. Prayers for you, bud. Pastors Rock!
