COULD ALSO MEAN THAT THEY ARE SHY. I GOT A WINK ON HERE FROM A NICE MAN WHO LIVES IN MY AREA. THEN I EMAILED HIM BACK. SOME PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF REJECTION AND SO IGNORING A WINK IS EASIER ON THE EGO THAT IGNORING SOMEONES HEART FELT LETTER! Isaiah 42:8 " I am the Lord; that is my name! I can never send an email unless the email came to me first. Because I am not a paying member, I can not wink back or doing anything but put you in my favorites and hope you notice and get back to me. It's frustrating actually but I have been on here for 1-1/2 years and paid in the very beginning and let that expire and haven't paid since. I figured if God wants "the one" to get to me, He'll send him to me. Oh, just go ahead and wink back. Live dangerously, take a chance. You never know!! Right?! I have only sent one wink and it was a return wink to someone who captured my interest. I tend to ignore them for the most part. As was said before, most are either scammers or someone living in China Rica.

Good luck and let us know. -Jers You can send winks as a non-paying member....when viewing someone from the search/browse menu....you'll see (to the right of their photo) where you can send a wink. Now for...what a man should do when he receives a wink ....if he thinks he may be interested he should send an email...and attach his profile. I send winks to say hello....as standard members do not have the opportunity to view profiles...I am saying hello...that's it.....and respond if you like. . Would prefer to send an email....but can't...so it's just a very casual way of initiating correspondence. maria

Yes, I agree, if the man is interested, he should send an email so I can answer back. It's weird but then again, BC gets weird every now and again, as we all know. Winks = You caught my attention (If you winked at me, now I hope you write back!!!!!) ') a wink from me means- "I would like to get to know you." If you live quite a distance- (Mid West and South-) probably not too far away for a relationship= I proceed to email ( I dated long distance to Chicago for 4 yrs!!! Then we married) However, clear across the country. . . I probably would like to solely be penpals. Yet, if winker is in the next town- Well, I must admit, I go right to "email land." (To me, the chances of eventually mtg. are a lot more likely) Winks open the door!!! A pull down menu would be fun- can we do a poll about what the 5 or 6 choices would say???? Anyone, up for their two cents worth on this?????????Could be fun!

I'm a saddo.. I save all my winks.. (until BC deletes them after 30 days).. I get emails.. but umm there is something about a wink from a cute guy..   Oh ok.. Im shallow...

I don't know what it means when I receive a wink either..... When I send a wink...it means I am interested in corresponding. When I send an email...it means I am interested in corresponding. I tend to think that is what it means when I am winked at as well...however comma emails don't always follow...sooooo guess I am as confused with winks as the next person.... Blessings to you
