Some things never change...

I stopped by to night to see what's going on around the BC blogs. I learned I'm white chocolate and since I wash my face first in the shower I always think about money. Some interesting information here.

Also found out that weeds grow in the gardens down under too! A bit of red-neck advice: Round-up works wonders!

Visited a few blogs and read some inspiring words of wisdom. I miss the interactions here, but God knew what He was doing when He told me to get out from in front of the computer. LOL

I've been going to the gym for the past five weeks. It feels good to take time for myself again. I feel better than I have in years...other than my muscles being sore all the time now. An interesting twist, I started dating my trainer. Definitely out of my league, lol.

I'm staying busy preaching - schedule is staying full nearly two months in advance. Don't have an opening until November 9th.

My nephew broke his ankle two weekends ago, this past weekend a dear friend of mine wrecked his motorcycle and busted his femur and some ribs. A member of the church I use to pastor fell from his barn and broke his hip the same morning and my former wife fell and broke both her legs that afternoon. Then, on Monday my Dad was charged by a cow and broke 5 ribs and separated his AC joint. All this to say I decided to make some changes in my life: sold my motorcycle, I'm staying off ladders and avoiding the farm!

No matter what happens, God is good...all the time...that never changes

Hope all is well with all my BC friends!

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - part of Jim Elliot's October 28, 1949 journal entry

One life will soon be passed, only what's done for Christ will last!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that's how you maintain your motivation for those 5:30 a.m.s!! Yikes, lots of injuries...any good analogies for a good sermon in that for ya?

Nice to see you...

    Quoting busykydad:
Helen! How are you? How is your health?
My health is getting better every day! It feels so good to start feeling normal again...even mentally and emotionally. The body had to work so hard to stay afloat since December 2006...and now that it is finally healing I'm feeling the old vim and vigor. Feels sooo good!

I've sure appreciated this community for prayer times...thanks. Looking forward to where the LORD would have me next...and resuming 'normal' life!
