Silly poll for women...

Is beauty more than skin deep. After reading an article in a journal, I'm curious, how many items do you have in the shower/bath tub? Be honest, how many bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gels, body scrubs, facial soap, etc do you really have at your disposal?

Gonna poll the men too, but, I predict the answer will be two - soap and shampoo.

Women, explanations are welcome!

Well, I did vote 10 or more....but then there's the real truth.....how much of this "beauty" stuff do I actually use????

Here's my list:

3 or 4 different kinds of shampoo....depends what my hair needs

2 kinds of conditioner....sometimes there's need for extra conditioning

10 kinds of bubble bath or salts and bath oil.....I like to use a combination to suit my mood.

1 kind of facial soap.

5 kinds of body cream for afterwards....depends on what bubble bath was used.....need to compliment the scents!!

BUT........this collection of bath and beauty stuff is not kept in the bath/showing area......it's kept in a cupboard in my bedroom, so when it's needed I take it off the shelf (almost like a store, hehehe) and put it back when finished!! It keeps the bathroom from looking all messy!!

Pretty interesting post!!

I have ONE bottle of Shampoo.. One bottle of Conditioner.. One bodywash, One pouff.. One hair removal..

I don't do body scrubs.. or cleansers - just a face wipe a day.. keeps the spots away...

Jim, what color is your bath-room? Do you have flowers on your shower curtain?????
Let's see, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. And they all fit nicely on that hangy thing over the shower head.
But none of them are........luffa, or mango mandarin citrus skin polish.
I went and snooped at the guys poll, it was very funny.

I did too! The mens' poll seems to be picking up more opinions.

Washing with beer indeed!!!!

I think men use as many products as women (minus the make up).
I think they are more discreet about it.

Any opinions on that one!!!!

(Let's face it, lots of women LOVE it when men take the time
to use cologne or a wear a nice scent- yes???)

Well you know when others by women gifts more than likely there are some sort of bath products like lotions and shower gels.
When I taught school, I always got some sort of basket or gift from Bath and Body Works!!
Hey you men like us smelling good!! Right??

Nice bathroom Jim.

If that was my bathtub, I'd definitely use it and if I had a husband, I'd definitely get him in there with me!! Did I say that out loud!! Well, it's the truth, I would!! I've never done that. I guess my bathroom's and bathtubs have been too small but then again, I only had one husband that was never interested in anything.

In my shower I have Shampoo/Conditioner combo, and 3 kinds of body wash. My favorite it Bath & Body Works Brown Sugar & Fig.

So 4 bottles but I have Noxema and Cetaphil facial wash. I also have a Sea Salt Oil Body Scrub. Total is 7 and several Poof's one color for everyone. My eldest refuses to use a poofie thing and uses up the body wash faster!!

3 on the bath. Hundreds in the cupboard! Mostly presents that I use sparingly as treats but your question made me think that I should probably treat myself more often. I don't know what I was saving them for when I have so many!

I'm extremely boring, sorry! I have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel that's all......

And nothing in the cupboard.

When I decide I enjoy shopping, I'll go out and get more.

Hi Jim,

I'm new here and found this fascinating. Never thought about it, I counted 7 in the shower. Will keep quite about the bathtub. It is more than beauty, it also goes souldeep. You would not ask that question if you spend more time in the bath accompanied by some of these items. :

So many moods, so many choices.

I think it is time for larger showers/bathtubs to accommodate the guys items, don't you think girls, will have to draw a line though, more space..........

Hi there, just had to pop in to say hi.
