It has to happen, God said it would. To have a one world government you need to try to create a one world religion to go with it. The devil continues to change things to suit himself and God has fortold it. It's funny how the devil must know the Bible, yet goes on the path to his own destruction.

Poor ol' devil, he's still only got the tower of Babel principle stuck in his mind, and history will repeat itself, it failed in an instant so will the NWO. Babylon falls in one hour, Rev 18:10 (Bablylon/Babel? Interesting)

When Christians are persecuted multiplication happens. Times will get tough, but there's a Great Harvest also. Praise God for each soul saved for eternity.

Judgement Day will be interesting.

When Christians learn to truely love their neighbour instead of themselves, the world will change.

Judgement Day will be interesting.

I thought about it when you posted the former Post "Do we need a Pope or not". When did we ever USE the Pope? Any of you and me. I don't USE or NEED a Pope by any reason. I don't need a Christian at "a higher level or position on the Christian/religious ladder of Levels". I don't need anyone to define my Faith and/or Belief so I have anyone ahead that I follow.
I can choose to do so, but I don't have to.
(It's hard to express in a foreign language, so everyone understand exactly what I try to say. One day a Christian-pretending person will try and use it as a quote of mine against me...).
We are a Church, Ecclesia all of us. No regard what Christian Branch we say we belong to. As long as we believe in Jesus Christ and do as He commands/tell us. At the same time we can - and should - be a part of a congregation. For sharing; praying; helping; listening; speaking; acting; correcting; get corrections; encouraging; being encouraged; growing; leaving and returning. A Base; a Free Place; a Sacred Spot. From where we can go out in this world living as real Christians who point at Jesus by all they say and do. And not at ourselves by telling others what GREAT and REAL Christians we are; come and do; believe and think as I do: THE only way to be a REAL Christian. That's only to point to oneself!
We can tell how we do things, but never add to the Gospel by saying:it's the ONLY way to do this and that.
There are some parts of real Christianity that can't be changed or twisted. God is "I AM": the only LIVING God. Our Creator. Our Judge. Our Father. The one with the positive Eternity for all. Jesus His Son. Who called Himself "I AM" rightfully. Our Saviour; Redeemer; Head of Church; Brother and so on.
And then there are things that we as congregation believe is the Truth: the Doctrines. All that makes us differ from other congregations. One of the proves mankind can't fathom the fullness of God. We have to learn what is basic Christianity and what's doctrines of congregations.

God has no Grandchildren. Only (His) Children. We can't inherit Faith or Belief in God. And we can't pass our Faith or Belief on to our successors. We all need to walk the walk of finding back to Him. And then learn how to stay there.
When looking at all Christianity; the Churches; the Congregations; the Church Leaders; the pastors; the Frontier Christians. I find NONE to follow BUT Jesus Christ.
I see a lot of people; Christians who gives a good example of what it means to be a Christian. Worth listening to and to walk WITH. Not to follow. The ONLY one worth following is Jesus Christ.

Looking at all of them - and including myself - I ALWAYS find SOMETHING that is wrong somehow. Sometimes it's just details. Sometimes it's vital. But all of it tells us we will NEVER find the perfect leader or the perfect church. Except for Jesus Christ and His Ecclesia. His Church.

I could point out leaders of a church (that's what the Pope is) from ANY congregation or church who guides his church or congregation in a wrong direction. Being anointed to be a church leader doesn't mean you are free of wrongs. Having a Ministry of Preaching; Healing; Prophesying or Evangelizing doesn't mean you are now flawless; without sin. Some Christians with ministries like that - and people get healed; comes to Faith in God and so on by the Spirit! - STILL have issues of power; money or s*e*x*. And even they stay in their abuse, God STILL use them for getting to people. To heal; set them free or get new children back home.

God do not regret the Gift and Ministry He gave. He doesn't take it back. So a Gift or a real Ministry is no proof of being a Real Christian.
That's why we shouldn't point out leaders of congregations or churches for being wrong; when we do not belong to that church or congregation. Not when what all we do is to point fingers telling others we are better than them.
Jesus isn't a Republican or a Democrat. Christians can be Republicans or Democrats. Jesus is/was politically active. In the way He wants to change circumstances to the better for the individual everyone. And He wants us to do the same.
Being a Republican at the convent; standing for being elected to become the new Republican President Candidate waving with a Bible (probably his own) doesn't necessarily mean he is a Christian. Only he has a Bible in his hand and he knows how to wave.
Ronald Reagan "invented" adding the "Christian" part to politics as a copyright only for Republicans. Saying "WE ARE Christian, THEY ARE NOT.

JESUS CHRIST owns the Copyrights of Christianity. Nobody else!

For the last 30 years at least I have heard this "because-of-this-and-that-THEY-are-the-coming-World Government; the World Leader or the Beast. Mostly pointing at the Catholic Church and/or the Pope/Rome/European Union.
But we need the glue. The "glue" that makes EVERYONE willing to follow and get trapped into what "they/he" tells us is right to do. We still miss the breakdown that makes everyone crave a leadership/leader who can take care of the whole world as a one.

I think we see a lot of parts happening - like ISIS and what the Pope said and did - that is PART OF the break down. The prelude for the Leader to come. And remember: everyone will applause him when he comes. None is against him. He will seem like a relief.

So why spend time paying attention to someone we do not follow or have any reason for submitting to as Christian Leader?
He will seduce some Christians; just as other Christian Leaders of other denominations will seduce some Christians. And every time THAT happens we can and should warn our Brothers and Sisters. Regardless of congregation or church they come from.

Don't believe those who spend a lot of time telling they are Christians. Their actions should speak that for them. The more they talk the more I start looking for their Fruits.

"Who am I that the Lord of all the Earth would care to know my name...."

Blessings
