Read above Post, and now I am wondering if the saying of "paying the price for what you say" has come to practice.
What are we willing to pay for the right of speaking the Truth?

And at the same time it makes me wonder, if we price freedom from tax above the freedom of speaking the truth?

Paying 10 % of our income might eventually not be enough for spreading the Gospel of the Final Price Have Been Payed. I think it's not the question how much of our money God is entitled to get, but how much of God's money we are to use ? (said the poor man).

Freedom of tax when it comes to maters of the Church and NGO-work is always good. More work can be done, and more people can be reached. But face it: It's a benefit we have got used to count on.

Blessing

I disagree with any churches changing from non-profit to for-profit.
As flawed as we humans are, it would only be a matter of time before every single church that goes that route would be focusing more on revenue and how to obtain more and more than focusing on the gospel.
Think the Crystal Cathedral, and the fallout from what happened with Jim and Tammy Baker years ago.
Yes those are extremes, which makes me honestly wonder how many other churches aren't in the limelight for this because they either haven't displayed their wealth openly or are simply very good at hiding it.

As far as churches being forced to not preach on certain issues (gay marriage, abortion, etc.) or possibly face having their no-profit status revoked because they are deemed "political" issues is a tough pill to swallow.
These subjects (homosexuality, abortion, etc.) are SPIRITUAL issues in nature that are outlined as being sinful in many places within the bible, and were never political issues up until recently.
It's the LGBT, IRS and other entities that have changed the wording, and therefore the classification of these issues into political.

Out of the many times that I've seen and heard people whine and cry that there should be a "separation of church and state(politics)", it's hypocritical now that they want them joined together to serve their plan to silence the truth.
