well,i knew there were some people that didn't like me at work,but i never thought they would stoop to such a low level. within the passed year,(with all the economic problems in our region)all the top people in our company had been replaced.(these are people way above me, in both pay grade and authority) well,this pass week i really could smell this rat rearing its ugly head, and it was looking right at me. things were mysteriously being blamed on me,that were clearly not my fault.and then there were talks about some people may have to lose their jobs. then sure enough,the very next morning,i was called in,they were telling me they had to let me go, because i didn't put any signs in the road that we were working in front of.even the supervisor was saying, he didn't know how something so small could be blown so far out of proportion.well i know how it happened,they were the ones who blew it out of proportion.you see,our austin office is getting ready to close,so all the employees from that office are trying to get our jobs to save their jobs. it all started when they sent our main supervisor to the middle east,so now they are taking over our office,they weren't able to take care of their own affairs in their city, so what makes them think they are going to do any better in San antonio. well,sorry for venting,almost 4 years of dedicated service to a company down the drain.please pray that i can find a descent company to work for soon,you know the bills are always piling up.i need either one good job,two mediocre jobs,or maybe even three low paying jobs.  i am available to different options right now,you see,even i can laugh at my own problems,i must be crazy or something.  blessings to every one! your buddy old pal,Marcos |

Blessings brother, Brad it is very possible i may look for an entirely new carear path.Right now i am a little burnt out with engineering,or mabe i had worked with negative people for so long, that i am blaming the field,and it was just the people i was working with.Either way,hopefully i can find people like yourself,that have a joyous and positive outlook on life. blessings to you!

Blessings wherever God has you next. i just had an interview for some temporary work at a local engineering firm. they gave me a "survey test" with about 20 survey math questions,and i scored a perfect 100,they were very impressed to see that,so hopefully i will get the job,and hopefully temporary turns into a long time. blessings!

One gets started in the mortgage business by letting people know you are learning something new. I would simple say I am trying to help people save anywhere from $300 to $600 on their mortgage by taking advantage of the lower rates that are out there. Today"s rate was 5.25 which is a great rate today. If someone does want to refi then let me know and that would begin the process of you learning the mortgage business. I do a 50/50% split business on what ever the commissions are.

with all the jobs being lost now adays you see lot familys giving up and giving in but if we lean on God and trust in Him things can change in His time and way.......... been there done that and seeing way back into the light,,,,,,,, are u able to move out of erea for a job else where?.............. there are jobs over here i have mentioned it to few ppl already and i know of 2 that have moved fromw here they were and goten hired over here in ms................

Dear Marcos, What type of engineer are you? I do job searches every day and would be happy to send what I see to you through email if you let me know yours. I am out of work also after completing my degree in December. It is very tough out there. So much competition but you are in a great field to get work. There are engineering jobs on this site: http://bigchurch.com I have heard through another BCer that there are two Army bases being consolidated and so there are civilian jobs needing to be filled from those that didn't want to move and took an early retirement. thank God,i found a job!! it is with a really good company,with alot of overtime! the only problem is that i am still on temporary employee status. hopefully they will get more contracts,so i can be put on permanent status. or perhaps another company can hire me as a permanent employee. either way,thank you so much for your prayers, i really appreciate and need them.

Pamela actually i am not an engineer,i am a land surveyor,but i usually work for engineers,land surveying and civil engineering go hand in hand,so alot of companies have both departments,it saves them alot of money to keep the business to them selves,instead of outsourcing. but thank you for your prayers,i am still looking for a permanent employment situation,hopefully this company will hire permanently,or maybe it will be another company. blessings to you my friend!

FANTASTIC.... see GOD promises to never leave us nor forsake us... email me... i would love to move to New Mexico. they say it is beautiful over there,and you have good fishing,well that just sounds AWSOME.is it hot over there right now,because over here it is averaging about 102 degrees. you know what,that is just tooooooooo hot for me,i think i need to find a place that is a little cooler,like maybe one that gets 90 degrees at the peek of summer,its already 102 over here, and summer has just begun.
