ooooooooh, I misread this and...and...and...placed a happy face on a few...and then thought I better read this again cuz what I was doing would be spamming the same peoples posts over and over... ***sigh** I think I better go have some lunch for proper brain function...brb...

Okay I may not have won the year's suppy of Rice-A-Roni but I did visit some very interesting blogs. I went to Hellen's and then Hisgrayce and then Sophie's and then Alan's and then Florida girl's and I Made It 3 and then because I can't count on my fingers and type at the same time I ended up at RaceFan Terri's blog. Okay so who is the dork now? LOL

Oh no, you must have never had rice-a-roni before. It's about a buck of box now. On all the game shows of the 70s, the consolation prize was Rice-A-roni, the San Franscico treat. I have no idea why they call it that but they had a picture of a little trolley car on the ad. It's basically flavored rice. LOL , thanks for explaining...that's funny, I bet the contestants were cock a hoop about winning that lol!. Have you noticed how you and I always get onto food? hahahaOn a programme called 'crackerjack' in the 70's here, kids could win a crackerjack pencil...whoo hooo! lol...and I always wanted one....lol

I played anyway! It was great fun - I'd put a comment, then with it the Izzy's blog link!! And a smiley! I trotted around to 6 blogs very quickly and wound up on a couple I hadn't visited before! This was fun Izzy. Lets do it again! I have a suggestion for a few "rules" changes. -more than 6 blogs -if you land on a serious blog post that would be inappropriate to post a smiley on, you can go to another recent post on the same person's blog that would be more appropriate, but you have to add one more blog to your total blogs you have to go to. -if you land on a backwards blog,(you know, where the person has the most recent comments listed first instead of last) you have to do the person below you AND you have to add one more blog to your total number of blogs you have to go to. -don't make it a race, make it more like a scavenger hunt so that people don't stop when the first person is done. -post a smiley and a LINK to your blog orienteering post. I didn't do the link, so I had some confused people. -a day after each person is finished, they should come back and report any interesting results. For instance, I got one friend invite out of it, and lots of nice responses from people, and a few joined the race! Just some ideas for you! Let's do it again! I think your ideas for rule changes are brilliant!! thank you! I'll change the post at the top of my blog so that I can incorporate them and I think it's a great idea to come back and tell people interesting facts about your race.....this was just an idea I thought of after doing some orienteering at the weekend, so I wasn't really sure if it would work or not lol.. As you say, it fun and it's a good way to get people to mix.....

Seriously I'm dizzy lol.But y'all go! i will try to learn it as we go along. Wow those last instructions were really tough. I'm laying back down for now. Hurricane Gustav is coming up here now till friday. Lots of rain.... I'm a little stressed , so my brain is already on overload for now. SOOO glad it missed N.O.
