READY FOR BOOT CAMP

So often, we think of church as the place to go to relax.
But we are warriors.
Warriors need training.
Where do modern-day warriors go for training?
They go to boot camp.

Church is our boot camp.
It's where we learn how to survive, and how to fight.
When people in the military are training, what are they taught?
They are taught:
Wear your armor.
Keep your weapon with you, and make sure you know
how to use it effectively.
Know how to identify your enemy.
No matter what, keep going.
Obey the one who is in charge.

So when we go to church, we need to remember---it isn't nap time. It's boot camp.
Then, as we go out the doors of the church building, we are going out into the field.

Okay then---
