[B]Dear God, I have really prayed that you keep me well protected under your wings so i dont keep on falling into temptations again and again.Single life can be stressful and lonesome at times and mostly the reason as to why i find myself ending up falling into temptation of sin always. Ooh my God,what should i do to refrain from all these?Have mercies on me for i know u a God full of mercies. |

Dear MagnifyGod1000, I have read your prayer. To help keep yourself from falling into temptation, perhaps you can find healthy ways to deal with your stress. Exercise is a wonderful way to rid the body and mind of stress. I walk a lot. Or, you can even put on the radio and do aerobics in your home! There are tapes to listen to also that can help alleviate stress. Make sure you are eating well and getting enough sleep too. These 2 things are very important. Also, taking a daily vitamin/mineral tablet is good. As for the lonliness, yes, sometimes I too feel lonesome, but then I immerse myself in things such as BC and the groups and the fellowship with the wonderful ladies here, such as yourself! I have projects that I work on; my gardens or crafts. Getting together with a trusted friend and visiting or going to a movie, etc., also helps. Of course, if you can find a church (or attend a church) that has activities for single people, that also is a wonderful avenue. Dear Lord, please be with this beautiful young lady, MagnifyGod1000, and help her to deal with her stress and lonliness in healthy and constructive ways. Show her positive ways to help herself during this time. We all need Your guidance, Lord, at one time or another in our lives, and I am no different. Hold Magnify close to Your heart, and help her to see that she is not alone; that You are there with her, Lord. Put your angels of protection around her and keep her out of temptation's way. Fill her with Your strength. Lastly, Lord, fill Magnify with your peace and set her mind at rest. Thank you, Lord, Amen.    -  Your Sister-in-Christ, TJ

& He keeps forgiving & forgiving. Hang in there, sis! Some one told me years ago to remove myself, get physically away from the temptation. If that means not going to a certain store, then I don't go to that store. If that means not going to a certain... where ever!... I don't go there either. It doesn't help for all temptations but it helps for some. Rebuke the devil & he will flee from you. I've needed to rebuke ungodly ideas that pop into my mind over & over & over & over & over &... But they eventually faded. Memorizing scripture when I was struggling with temptation helped me too but you probably already know that. God loves you just as you are! God bless you richly!! And thank you for sharing your prayer.
