~ I don't like asking, but I feel the time has come to ask~

For your prayers...

I have been in pain for about 4 months now, of and on.. and currently waiting for test results from the hospital and gotto go and have a scan.

I think and am 99% sure that I have another cyst on my ovaries, this is causing me great pain and today, I cannot stand properly or walk properly.

I'm scared about the prospect of having yet another one and know what would be coming... Last time I had one was back in 97, and I did almost die from the morphin and anaestetic..

I know God has healing for me, but I'm trapped in a thought process that me going to God now will be like I'm just using Him for my Healing. Although I'm not.

Thank you

Got you covered Mel, I just sent the Holy Spirit. I had a heck of a time getting Him in a flat-rate box.

Frazzie, it is people with their religion who thought up performance base religion, not God. The idea if we do certain things in the right way God will eventually answer our prayers.

Do you, or any of us deserve God's healing or anything from God - NO! If we did, that would nullify the whole idea of grace & mercy.

Now take what you said, "...but I'm trapped in a thought process..." Has this "thought process" lead you to believe in order for God to hear you, you first have to do certain things ?

If so, read Gal. 3: 21-27 "...so the only way to receive God's promise is to believe in Jesus Christ..."

Your motivation to fallow & obey God will increase when you come to a deeper understanding of his unconditional Grace & Mercy.

They don't call it AMAZING Grace for nothing.

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

I think God wants His kiddos to come to Him. Can you imagine as a mom, if your son was in pain and never came to you about it? I know you love your child and you want to be there for him. So let God be there for you. Take your thoughts captive and run into His arms. He is waiting for you!

I'm praying for you Frazzmatazzzzzzzzzz!!

    Quoting  :

It sounds like your wife had polycystic ovarian syndrome...metformin, a diabetes medication, is useful in treating this condition as are oral contraceptives. Ovarian cysts occur in most women at some time in their reproductive life...they are a function of ovulation...the follicle that released the egg persists after ovulation and fills with fluid; most cysts resorb within one to two menstrual cycles and don't require surgery. However if they rupture they can be quite painful and if they are very large cysts or persist for more than 2 cycles then likely some type of intervention will be necessary. Should that become necessary the anesthesiologist will know your history, not use the medications that caused your reaction, and monitor closely...in some cases they will even premedicate with IV Benadryl to prevent a reaction.

Above all, arm yourself with knowledge...then trust God with the outcome. He will keep you.

I know what you mean. It feels wrong, somehow to use God as a "Please do this" machine...
So, tell you what...for a day or two, let us intercede for you. You just climb up in God's lap and sit there. Let Him put His arms around you. God loves showing love, and you'll feel a lot better.
I'll be thinking of you---and praying...
