2 Cor. 2:
3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

What does this mean to you??

Those strongholds are those false beliefs you hold on to in your mind and in your belief system. The Word of God is the divine power that destroys those false beliefs and replaces them with the true knowledge of God!

Do you agree?

Salvation is of the LORD

I think it is an under utilized concept - taking every thought captive. We CAN get thoughts of suicide out of our head. We CAN get temptations to sin out of our head. We CAN get thoughts of [ insert your challenge here ] out of our head. 'Taint easy. Probably not a one time thing. I have found continually rebuking in the name of our Savior very effective. The thoughts I want to take captive do go away.

I do not see one lesson from each passage. Our God can use a verse to minister to 1,000,000 different people in a 1,000,000 different struggles. Can I limit the Almighty?
