So, ladies, do you like aftershave on your guy? Does a certain scent attract you? Please share!
As long as it is not Eau de la Locker Room, I'm happy.
Clean with just soap and water is fine by my nose.
The sweatier the better!
Give me an Old Spice man any day!
Old Spice? What's that??
A little fragance can be nice.
The fancy schmancy scents are worth every cent - wear it, guys!
Natural but clean is best.
I haven't thought about it; get back to me later.
Other, please explain.

I like a man who can carry off a fancy schmancy scent and still be "da man."

I think it always captures my attention and makes my heart skip a beat when a guy who smells good gives me a hug!

I used to melt... I mean seriously melt if a guy walked into the room wearing Halston Z-14.

Even though it's not a requirement... I do love it when the guy I am with smells really nice. Where are all of the wonderful men who smell really good..? Oh man, there I go again- will my man bashing never end?!?! LOL

I do like My guy to smell yummy, and hey if any guy smells pretty I like to say so.... Most of the ones I say it to know me and know it's in jest.... I wouldn't want to embarrass either person... Truly Sue

Its ok if you are up next to someone but for me, not if it smells up the entire room and you are forced to smell it.

I was with someone who seemed as if he dumped a bucket of cologne on his head before going to work each day so it sorta turned me off a little from it.

Sorry for the interruption but I wear Old Spice. I used to wear English Leather. Never mind my pic, I look WAY better than that!

When it comes to mens fragrances I have a nose for Halston Z-14- I can tell right away if a guy is wearing that scent... I am just drawn to it... it doesn't even have to fill the whole room- if it does he is wearing too much. If a guy who has that on gives me a hug- I get seriously weak in the knees. Any nice fragrance is good- but that one really does it for me.

I know how you voted! It is interesting that us women are spread over the options but the men were almost all wanting the same thing. Hmmm...

It's a good thing they know what you mean. I haven't tried telling any man he smells pretty. I'll probably not be starting tomorrow but I'm glad you can get away with it!

I totally agree. If the wearer can smell it, it's probably way too strong. Plus I have friends with allergies and I always sympathize with them.

Ooops, I should have read ALL the reponses first before I posted.
Initially I wasn't going to post since I saw this thread was addressed only to ladies, but then I saw his funny response so I thought I'd throw mine in since I hadn't yet seen you dissenting his response.

I'm in error.
Forgive me for my rare insolence please.

But, but, but... If you apologize I can't come up with a funny line like, "So sorry about your chemotherapy, there, Baldetta."

So I lied; it's not funny.

Where do I get some of that Halston Z-14¿ I promise to dig out all the grease from under my fingernails! P.S. I am all worked up thinking about you being weak in the knees! Sorry about the hair, I just woke up!

As much as I like a man who smells nice and you can just smell it as they walk by, I also like the natural smell a man has it's real and THEM. But Im not picky.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness! thats a bonus to start with.

but an aftershave on a man can enhance their allure! Remember the film.......'Scent of a woman', there should be one called 'scent of a man'..... scents build memories and nostalgic reminders of things we love and cherish..whther that be a tasty lasagne... or of a man we care for!

As long as there is nothing ooffensive and smelly, im good!

Goldens - your comment was utterly hilarious. I worked in a high school once and you could easily get knocked over by the 'over-doing' on aromas on kids trying to impress! my nose is still healing.
