I like a "touch of scent". The amount you can smell only when your up-close.
Grace, like water, always flows downward, to the lowest place. Amazing Grace!!

I voted "a light touch of scent is nice" - but I want to qualify that...it has to be the right scent. A nice crisp, clean scent...not too much floral, especially rose...

I am allergic to oil based perfume, otherwise I like a light touch. Someone suggested once that perfume should not be able to smelled more than 5' away.

A touch is really nice, but I shy away from the ones who's perfume enters the room before they do!

yes a light touch me too
women remind me of flowers,,,so smelling nice is a nice thing,,,but not overdone,,,uneccessary,,,its the spirit of a lady that refreshes,a scent should just confirm it

Interesting. Thank you to all who responded. There is much more consistancy in what men like for their noses than for what women like for their noses. Thanks for making it easy for us, fellas!
[ I'm not a perfume wearer myself. I figure a nice smelling shampoo will do the trick. ]

Sorry Lilly,
I didn't see this thread. I noticed your one to the women from the main blog page without clicking on "View All" or else I'd have seen this one and went here instead.
Ok, I answered this question with "other". Why? Because I most like a faint smell (I have a hard time with smelling others anyway) but some fragrances turn me off regardless of how strong or faint they are. I most like ones that smell like fruit. If the gal won't choose that one, then I like them to smell like me...heh (answer to that is in the gal thread )

Yes I like a nice fragrance,,,,,not too heavy ,,,,,but all the nice smell can be killed with bad breath so that just proves you need to worry about the inside before you worry about the outside,,,kind of like a spiritual metaphor I guess

Bad breath YUK!
I'm a sugarless gum chewer to take care of that. I've learned that gum chewing, as long as it's sugarless, is good for the teeth, not just breath. And it's good for your brain! But it causes bloat. Two out of three aint bad...

Greetings Fields, I can see, as you have, that we men like a light fragrance, if any, over a heavy baptismo... Not only does a heavy odor make me wonder for what reason, i.e. covering something up, but if it is also a repulsive odor, it is a turn off. I think though, when it comes to flavor, we men may differ. I like a sweet smell, where as others may not. I personally find a musky or spicy smell offensive, but others may differ. So, as far as quantity, I would say men like it light, but for quality (flavor), we each have our own preference. When I wear cologne, I choose a lite mist of "Wings" by Georgio of BH... What do ladies like, or do I have to go read your post to the women???

Yes, you may have a peak at the other blog. Just be prepared to have an imaginary pillow thrown at you!

I have to go with the crowd. To much perfume can make someone that is allergic virtualy blind with watering and itching eyes. I had this experience once, it wasn't good. I have to say I've liked almost liked every perfume I have smelled, much different then men's calogne. I am very choosie when it comes to them.
