Anyone who catches my eye and heart, and vice versa.

But I agree with the rest here.... It is all about who God sends along... I am open to him... But betweeen you and me.. I have a sweetheart and he is perfect for me... Netty Lying in bed would be a truely supreme experience if only I had a coloured pencil long enough to draw on the ceiling

I'm only going to marry the man God's got planned for me! No one else! (my only requirement - race, height, physical health or features don't come into it).

Yes I would marry outside of my race in a heart beat! I have dated out side of my race in the past and enjoyed the cultural differences. I like to learn new things about people. I find it humorous when people stare as if to say "What are they doing together?" Don't get me wrong I love my brothers and have much respect for them! Love has no color! As long as he loves and repects me and is proud to walk down the street with me holding my hand, and not ashamed to bring me around his family and friends then I'm cool with interracial relationships! So to all my Caucausian, Hispanic, Asian brothers holla at a sista!

To begin with, we are all from same root. Besides,in the OT, Moses married outside his own race in a land where he refuged(Gen.2:11-21). Also, the NT made it clear, we are one in Christ irrespective of race. I know for some Christians, this is a difficult barrier to break, but biblicaly, while other things like desire/taste, height, level of faith may count, differences in race should not be a barrier if both of you love each other, compartible, and gets on well.

Love transcends the color of our skin. Unfortunately, there are ignorant people who don't understand this.

Correction. For those who have read my comment, there is a pen-error. I meant to quote (Exodus 2:11-21) and not Genesis. Thanks Fieldlilies for noting that error.

Even more,I will say Love can be as all kinds of color. I come from a single race family but somehow I always believe that I might marry to a gentleman in different race from me. My exboyfriend was from a mixed race family and the point why we attracted each other were exactly because we came from different race. However he is now with someone from his hometown seems much easier for him,in terms of distance and culture... Anyway, love matters but color...

Try having the elder child as bi-racial and the younger not bi-racial. That gets some pretty funny looks in the grocery store, from both races. Not everyone gets mind boggled when they see us, though. That's the good news. I had one girl ask my daughter how she was black when her mom was white, when my daughter was approx 4 years old. It was a girl at her babysitter. The babysitter got on to the mom. The mom said it wasn't her responsibility to teach or 'expose' her daughter to that knowledge when she doesn't have to deal with. I guess she thought her precious daughter would be growing up under a rock.
