Hey everybody or just you if no one other than yourself comes to this post I know you've had this happen to you before so tell me what would/did you do when your eating your meal at a restruant and your almost done when you find a looooooooong single hair underneath the rice
Pick a face above to decribe your reaction! Well I saw it and was almost done while I was eating chicke&beef combo terriaki with rice and it wasn't the most pleasant thing to find at the bottom of the plate. I was hungry though so I pick it up on one end and pull it through the rice and man O man did it ever take a long time to finaly come through I look over to see a young girl maybe early 20's doing the cooking and she look very nice and I figure she must have wash her hair before work soooooo bon appietie and finished it off cept I left a litttttttle patch of rice around the crime scene just to make me feel much better but in reality I knew that great big old long hair was slithtered up all over the plate and in my food like a sneeky snake seeing how incrediably long it was when I finaly got it out of there so I'm interested have any of you done the same thing or did you complain and ask for another portion. This isn't a lipmus test I would have prolly done so if it was steak and lobster or something like that or had I caught the little bugger before I ate nearly all of it...Lesson learn today......always look before you leap........ and eat!!!

Well, Dunky if it was my own long red hair in the food - I wouldn't think too much of it - but if I found a long black hair in the food in an oriental restaurant - I probably would have said something about it to the waitress - that's pretty gross - - then I probably would find a new place to eat after that - and then I would probably tell all my friends about it so they wouldn't eat there again either!! Glad I already had dinner.

Oh, nooooooooooo!!! Terrible.....this is a weak area for me, but it totally turns my stomach. I couldn't eat it. I'd have to leave, whether I got my money back or not!! And then probably wouldn't be able to go back......at least for a very long, long time!!! Now, I can deal with it if it's my own hair!!!

aaack aaack aaaaaaaack!!! I'm like my dad I might have thrown up! No couldn't have finished it. I would tell them nicely, and they probably would give ya another meal or your money back. It happens. Ppl don't wear hair nets much anymore. Hats or caps I mean. Is this why I never eat out? hmmmmmm

I would have called the manager over and shown him, asked him what he plans on doing about it. I would have heard him out, taken the offer for the free meal, left and never returned. Yikes...the way you describe it though....Dunky you always had a knack for that.....shivers!

Bllleeeeecccchhh . . . I would have taken the food back to the counter and shown the server and/or manager - to let them know they need to get some caps on their staff and be more careful!! Hair in food - I am seriously gagging just reading about it . . .

I would have pointed it out and demanded a certificate for a free dinner or two. Then I would give the certificate to my ex for his birthday or something. Who said that! No, seriously, I wouldn't do that... it was fun to think about for a second or two though.
That was terribly naughty of me to think... forgive me.

I always enjoy your comic descriptions but it was the comments I read with interest. Are long black hairs the Devil himself? What would Jesus do? (I actually like the phrase "what IS Jesus doing?" better). You were kind to the serving girl, but I think, judging from these responses, it might have been kind to alert the management to the problem without making a scene.
I have found both hairs AND bugs in my own cooking. I did not plant them on purpose. I am not aware of anyone dying or becoming sick from them. What God has blessed let no man declare unclean. A trip to the mission field might dull one's sensitivities some.
Thank you, encouragers. Integrity Leap Whispers

Well I CAN'T STAND hair. My own hair falls out by the droves and I have to clean my bathroom floor about 2-3 times a week. I hear when you have thyroid problems, this adds to hair loss problems. Either way, I GAG cleaning my OWN hair up. I ABSOLUTELY do NOT like finding it in my food. I DEFIANTELY quit eating. I KNOW you can't help it, even with caps on, it still happens, peoiple's hair fall out. That's all there is to it. I usually don't go back to that perticular restaurant either. If I do, I watch closer. Thanks, for letting us ALL in on your NOT SO NICE experience. I guess we GOT TO SHARE in the good with the bad???

Hi Greggy as for me that about says it all. I hate to find hair thats not mine anywhere really. I guess its my cooking background I'm fussy about hair and food hygiene. Now about the cockroach, wanna hear a story? I went with some workmates to a Korean bbq place in Auckland City for lunch. We ate and I had to go to the bathroom cus I had such an itch on my leg under my jeans. I felt something there, and held it tight in place til I got to the ladies, and found, you guessed it, a cockroach. It had run up my leg while I was at the table eating. Ewwww that was the worst feeling in the world, I couldnt wait to get home, shower n change...shiver
