EX 13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt: *repent = in this case seems to be 'changing their minds'.. God took them the longer way around because they would get scared? Anyways... are the philistines back then, who we call the muslims today? This was even back in the days of Abraham, prior to the exodus even, where the philistines were envious of what Abraham had. Well, did the philistines back then originate from Ishmael? |
