I would like anyone who will to please read this chapter. Do you see anything missing? If so.. would you help me FIND it elsewhere in the bible? Its so important to me.. If it cant be found, or I am misunderstanding something... I need to know... thanks.. |

LOL yendor.. well at least you dont close the subject that we dont know whats out there hahaha.. OK.. here goes... in the verse above the details it says dont mess around with your kin.. Now these are men talking to men. Because well thats how it was way back when. UNLESS i have literally bypassed it while reading... it doesnt say fathers/daughters IF it DOES say something about fathers/daughters PLEASE show me. IF it doesnt, PLEASE show me another scripture that DOES. i DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO SEARCH this out. *SIGH* where are all the pastors,teachers n stuff LOL I read from the KJV

I think that the Lord covers it at the very beginning in verse 6... "Lev 18:6 - None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD." You can't get any nearer of kin than a daughter... God could have just stop there, but he must of felt the the people needed a clearer understanding of who all are "kin" to them.. It kinda makes ya wonder what was going on in those days for God to have give them these laws!.. Banana and toothbrushes... Oh no not again... lol Life is too short so Lighten Up a bit...

Lev: 22:1-3 Yen thanks for talking with me. Yes I read that before about all kin. I know these scriptures go far deeper than just the natural man... but, so far the answer to the question asked of me is "I dont know" lol (as I swipe my forehead with my thumb and pointer.. and say does it say "God" on my forehead? lol)...

Well yen... twice someone has picked up the bible to read it.. starts at the beginning... gets to the point where it names who belongs to whom and lays the book down. 1. incest... (from our prospective anyways)... 2. people living to be 900+ years old. and the book is then closed as he shakes his head. I just simply say I dont know.. Because to get into a 'christian mode' with the have faith... or anything like that will only drive him away. So... inside its like I hear 'be still'
