I want to thank everyone who has been praying for me. I just got off the phone with my doctor and my latest lab reports have come back. She is releasing me to go back to work on Monday! Wooo Hoooo Thank You Jesus! I have been off work since mid July, surviving on only a portion of my salary along with God's unique provision and the help of my parents who could only help me so much as they are also strapped financially. If I didn't get released for Monday, I would be so behind on my house payments that I would probably lose my home. But God always comes through at the precisely right time! I never thought I would be so happy to return to a job that I hate. But I love my son and I love my home so I will continue to consider myself blessed to still have a job. And I am just so thankful to God to have it all! Watch out Houston freeways, come Monday, I will be ready to tackle that two hour drive to work. Clear that far left lane because here I come! Praise God to the highest!!! |

Blessed: Thank you! I always appreciate prayer! Jer: I drive an Aveo. It's like a go cart without the go part! LOL Chrissy: Thanks! You are always such an encouragement! DianeLynn: I think my stereo will be jamming with some power praise music on my drive to work! I am putting some Salvador, Michael W Smith and DC Talk in the car. Joybells: Good to see you! He continues to perfect my faith and He has shown His care and provision for me every step of the way. I am so very blessed! How are things going for you these days? Do you still drive a bus? I have really missed you! Rhonda: Thanks. I think God has already provided me with so much and His provision is much more valuable than just financial worth. He continues to cover my backside again and again! Maryann: Thank God we don't dance like Elaine from Seinfeld! LOL Woo hoo Happy Feet! OneLady: Actually I just have to get my little car going fast enough that trucks don't blow me off the road. This is Texas... Texas Tough Truck Country as the ads say. And they can be real roadway bullies but God continues to give me strength and He continues to toughen me up so this buttercup is gonna buckle up! LOL Hellen: Thanks! I will try to still make time to come here and blog but I do know that if there is any OT to be had, I need to make it. Time and a half could really help right now!! Besides we can call each other now that you have had that banana removal surgery! Longing: Thank you! I admit I so hate the traffic but whatcha going do? That's life and you roll with the punches. Beep beep one overcaffeinated Aveo coming thru... Stay off the sidewalks! LOL

Beedee - You are much too kind. I'm just a screw up like everyone else but God loves me despite myself and I am just so blessed! God bless you and thanks for stopping by. I have missed chatting with you in the chatroom. Steve - Oh where do I begin... First of all, the only grace I have comes from Jesus. Seriously, I am a klutz! As for winking and waving at once, that must be the smiley equivalents of rubbing your tummy with one hand while patting your head with the other. Hey did you see the Jeff Durham special on Com Central the other night. I love his Walter character! Too funny!

I haven't timed out the ride home yet to see if it saves me any time but I must tell you the stress levels in mass traffic are thru the roof. It's so exhausting to sit in traffic like that. I am bound to get better gas mileage as well well so this is a win-win situation. Praise God for the small victories!

But I do not feel my talents, gifts and intelligence is used to its potential by any means. So I don't expect to be here for the long run but right now, it is where God has placed me and I know He will open the doors that need to be open according to His will and timing. I am sure He didn't give me certain gifts to not use them for His glory. Not that He needs my help by any means. But I don't believe this is where He will keep me for the long haul. I look forward to the day when I am able to more fully use what He has been developing within me for His glory and good.

Well God has soften the heart of my boss. He is now allowing me to come in at 7:30am and leave at 4:30am. You won't believe how much stress this saves me. Now I leave about 10 minutes earlier than I used to and save 45-60 minutes on the road sitting in traffic on the way to work. I haven't timed out the ride home yet to see if it saves me any time but I must tell you the stress levels in mass traffic are thru the roof. It's so exhausting to sit in traffic like that. Wow..I can't imagine the stress. I live in a very small, safe area. Not as much opportunity, but much more peace. I was in Madison in July and felt so uptight in the traffic. I guess it's like that every day there. You're in my prayers! Quite the load! Good at least that your job was kept open for you.
