NASA Research has not been able to replicate simplest life forms

NASA has spent $Billions to find the origins of life. Even inside ideal laboratory conditions research scientists were never able to create a cell, a cell wall or cell membrane. And life is know to have originated under harsh circumstances from the fossil evidence. Scientists could not even get ingredients in Blue-Green Algae to form randomly into a living algae after years of trying.

NASA finally recognized that life could not have originated randomly here on earth and they began to look for source of life outside of earth. NASA and ESA (Europe's equivalent of NASA) spent over a decade investigating space and found that they still could not explain how life was created on earth. About 10-15 years ago most life scientists (not all) started accepting the theory that aliens came to earth and planted life. That is why the SETI research Carl Sagan was involved with has spent so much time and money looking for communications from extra-terrestrials. They want to find a source, that is not God, to explain the origin and have not found any yet. Why do they do this? I think it all boils down to scientific PRIDE and probably the diabolical workings of Satan to mislead many away from salvation through tChrist.

Have textbooks been updated to reflect the research of Life Scientists over the last couple of decades that demonstrates that life could not have randomly originated here on earth or in space? NO! Will they put in textbooks that life could not have randomly originated here on earth or from space--Probably NOT!

There are some very good books that deal with Intelligent Design, Origins of Life, etc. that were written by Christian scientists in the last decade. They are written in a scholarly manner and have revealed a lot of flaws in what is taught in schools and presented on PBS, The Discovery Channel. etc. on evolution, are not up-to-date with the latest research results.

I have been preaching this very same things for years when it comes to debate on macro-evolution. You should read the book 'Darwin's Black Box' written by biochemist.

Anything not to ackknowledge God- geez!!
OK- where did the aliens come from?? If they are the ones who 'planted' life? If what we are living here on earth is the same 'thing' that made up the aliens--where did they start?
Will they go further out into the universe to find an answer?
Maybe they should--they'll eventually end up at God.

So glad my good hard-earned tax money goes to reasearch to invalidate God!

I have read 'Darwin's Black Box' and recommend it too. I also like THe Origin of Life by Hugh Ross PhD., and Fazale Rana PhD. What are you studying in school?

It Frustrates me too! But has provided some excellent data to use as apologetic material when witnessing. If you enjoy learning about stuff like this read 'Darwin's Black Box' by Michael J. Behe PhD., Signs of Intelligence: Understanding Intelligent Design by William A. Dembskiand/or The Origin of Life by Hugh Ross PhD., and Fazale Rana PhD.

I'll have to check out the origins of life, though I already know where life came from. As far as school, I am just getting a AAS in Electromechanical Engineering Technology and will be done in March. Basically the skill set falls between an industrial electrician/millwright and an electrical/mechanical engineer. Most of the jobs are for a installer/troubleshooter for robotics, process control, AC/DC variable speed drive, PLC's, HMI devices, servomechanisms, etc. Pretty much anything in an automated manufacturing environment. It was the best bang for my buck at this stage of my life.

I did some things with robotics and found them very challenging and interesting. It sounds like you are going to be well prepared for a lot of jobs. I worked with some industrial engineers and have a couple of friends that do that specializing in ergonomic packaging of product. Did you get exposed to Nano-Technology? I am an electrical engineer and had a mentor who was one too, so all of my schooling was applicable to the work I did see brief bio For those who are curious........ All of my work was on things that had never been done before from unmanned vehicles under the ocean, on the ground in the air and in space to Star Wars things like Free Electron Lasers etc.

I really got involved in Creationism in 1972 after reading some books by Henry Morris, A.E Wilder Smith, Donald W. Patton, etc.. Walt Brown goes to the church I attended and he has written some very good stuff on hydro-plate-tectonics relative to the flood--he has a website that is update every week which amounts to a 450 page book. As all of the authors, he has some good points and some that are outdated.

AMEN! You pretty much summed up what are attitudes should be and how we should view God's creation! Thanks for commenting.

I would like to highlight the point made by The1Firecracker. (Have you thought of becoming a philosopher?)

In philosophy speak: the idea that _( life of earth can be explained by postulating aliens that came here and planted it )_ introduces a vicious regression, *unless* there is something *relevantly different* about how the aliens (in turn) came to exist.

(The only obvious possible relevant difference would be that they evolved in a non-hostile environment... but if [citing PhxHiker] NASA scientists can not get one of the easiest steps to happen in a laboratory, the move is fatally compromised.)
