This is for those who can not read my profile and are curious. I picked the uncomfortable mood, because I really do not like to talk about myself and am only doing this because people on BC have asked me questions. I was born and spent most of my life in Seattle. I have traveled all over North America, Europe and Asia; to about 25 countries. I really enjoyed Japan and lived in Yokohama for two years. Boku wa Nihon go hanashimasu. I have been to Europe many times and lived in Eigersund, Norway for 6 months while working on a control and instrumentation system for an unmanned underwater vehicle that buried pipelines in up to 500 meters of water. Also lived in Cadiz, Spain and Nice, France while working on projects. I love the Southwestern part of Colorado and have driven most of the 4x4 mountain passes between Ouray, Telluride and Silverton, CO. Southern Utah has some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen and I enjoy exploring the Anasai Indian ruins. Road trips are fun and I love the road between Baniff and Jasper in Alberta, Canada and Durango and Ouray in Colorado. I studied Electrical Engineering (EE) at the University of Washington (BSEE and MSEE) but dropped out of my EE PHD program since I felt called to minister/teach. So, while I was working at Honeywell as a Project/System Engineer, I moved on to the school of Religion at Seattle Pacific University, Fuller Theological Seminary, etc and got another Masters in Biblical Studies and Theology and a Doctorate of Ministries degree with the emphasis on Old and New Testament Studies and Theology (worked at Boeing as a Technology Director while I was in this program). My relationship with God is very important to me. I believe our lives are to be spent loving God and giving to others from the love God has given to us. I am a work in progress who desires to be able to to listen and discern God's promptings better. Much of my fulfillment comes from those times God has chosen to use me and I want to be available and obedient so I can be used as God's hands and voice for His GLORY! I am an active, young at heart, committed Christian who enjoys hiking, swimming, volleyball, exercising, seeing movies, socializing and hanging out with friends. Almost everyday I am involved in some physical activity, attend church a couple of times a week and enjoy hanging out with people 3-6 days a week. Much of my free time is spent discipling others, teaching, studying the Bible and Biblical Theology. Have led Christan Singles ministries, preached sermons, spoken at retreats and conferences, taught Bible studies, etc. |

If you don't share of yourself how can you build lasting friendships here in this strange land of the blogs? Definitely not boring to hear about your life God bless, G “Faith makes a Christian. Life proves a Christian. Trial confirms a Christian. Death crowns a Christian.” Annonymous

Glad to get to know you better, Terry. You have made such good use of the high intellegence that God gave you. I know that your words have blessed me and shaped my thinking. Occasionally, I start to say something to my pastor, reminding him of what he said. Then I remember that it wasn't him, but you. May God continue to bless your life and others through you.
