Why the desert?

Do I really need a rest?

Do I really need a break?

Will the world be put on hold?

Or will the timing be correct somehow when I return?

Questions on the heart?

Questions of the mind?

Questions in the soul?

What does He require of me?

There's nothing left to give.

For what I had, its now all gone.

At least of what I know.

I'm at a loss, I know not why?

I peer up in the sky?

Yet here I am, I am not gone.

I see no reasons why.

There's nothing left I gave it up

At least I thought it so

If there's more just tell me so

There's nothing that I need

I've walked away there's nothing left

The heart's desire's gone

An empty shell is all that's left

As far as I can tell.
