Events of the last few
weeks have been
confusing
?
The friend who I was visiting in the hospital with double pneumonia in Lubbock County, is now in the hospital again due to lack of O2 for two many days. It has been a week and I have had no word on her current condition from anyone.
I am now staying with a friend of a friend and wondering what is going on. God works in mysterious ways and often in ways that do not seem to make sense, and again I am confused.
When will things in life start to make sense?
Perhaps things in life should not make sense?
Enduring for the Saints, what does that mean?
I guess there are a lot of things I may never understand, less get used to. There are a few things I would like and that is normal I suppose, but why does happiness in life seem out of will? Why is human will not to be over come, yet can end where they do not want to be and the path they forced themselves to take to get there?
The path I am on I do not enjoy either, yet what other path is there to take?
Who else to follow and cling?
Yet understanding not.
Always asking why?
How much longer?
How soon?
Know ?

It is a shame some do not know the truth about matters, less take the time to notice what matters to those around them, forbid they intentionally and consistently look outside of themselves to seek out those in need of being listened to.
Against all odds, do you stand firm on your conviction, knowing God will always be faithful, even in the final deliverance home at the hands of those who would make it possible to finally go home?
If you’re not on guard against things that are not Christ like, you will be influenced by things that are not Christ like.
What are you allowing in your presence to go on?

Maybe I will open the doors of a place where believers can come and go when they wish, take what they will and leave what they may, for in this, iron sharpens iron.

A place to rest.

A place to abide until called away.
As long as there is breath in the body, there is hope for the soul it bares.
Fail as I may, attempting to be consistent, saved by grace unto good works, are you?
When we were redeemed, we were called to make disciples, raising them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, so they in turn may do likewise.
Without Absolute Truth, there are only lies disguised as truth, if you know not the Absolute Truth and it is NOT within you, you will embrace a relative truth that fits your eternity, that is now presently before you.
Saying I am sorry is WORTHLESS without real repentance.
Without a personal and intimate relationship with God, how can you ever realize the true identity and person of God?
Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you.
This time is short, serve Him well, serving all.
No exceptions.

Meow, all I can say is this.
Some were chosen to talk the path of the Cross. Even Jesus himself, the Son of God, was not happy to take the path before Him. In the garden He prayed for the Father to let this cup pass if it be possible, but not my will but Your Will be done.
Some will never find happiness in this life and then at the end they will ask, "Father, why have you forsaken me?"
But we walk this path anyway, not for happiness or fulfillment now, but for the Glory that was set before Him.
You shall have happiness in eternity, God is faithful.

Know the feeling right now!! It's kind of hard when ill health or difficult circumstances creep up on one unawares.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, Pete - I will pray for her.
Unfortunately, I have no answers but what I am sure you already know about how God works. Pray that He gives you peace in bearing this cross.
