Why be intimate with God ?









How well can one get

to know the true

character of

a living

God

?



How do we get to know some one's traits?

How do we get to know one's tendencies?

How do we get to know someone's wants?

How do we get to know one's desires?

How do we get to know one's passions?

How do we get to know someone's dislikes?

How do we get to know someone's likes?

How do we get to know one's basic thoughts?

How do we get to know one's ways?

How do we get to know one's personality?

What does it take to learn this?

Can one learn this by being a causal acquaintance?

Can one learn this by being a stranger?

Can one learn this if they are not interested?

Can one learn this if they are a consistent part time associate?

Can one learn this if they are estranged?

Can one learn this if they are just a friend?

Why bother wanting to learn anything?

He is God, what more is there?

Why do I need to know Him?

What value is there in knowing Him?

Why should I care?

Why should you?

Any of you?

Without a personal and intimate relationship with God, how can you ever realize the true identity and person of God?

Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you.

This time is short, serve Him well, serving all.

 I don't follow any college football too well. I take note of how the Washington Huskies and the Washington State Cougars are doing. I do know that they aren't doing too well right now. That's pretty cool to have a local team well ranked.

I have 70 degrees in the room and it feels pretty good.

 Jesus said no man will know God- (or the Son for that matter )unless the Son reveals The Father to that 3rd person.
SO how is it we think we can know something/someone who hides from us on purpose?
From what Jesus said- I'd say God's identity is that "pearl of great (greatest ) price"/Treasure- since FOLOWING JESUS ALONE IS THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW WHO THE FATHER IS.
That help YET pete?
Can NOT know the Father- if ya do not follow the SON perfectly. Am I wrong? or did Jesus say that?
ONLY THE SON CAN REVEAL THE FATHER. Not even the BIBLE does. It's why God said- HEAR YE HIM. Cuz only Jesus can reveal The Father. ONLY JESUS- JESUS ONLY.
Yet another reason to quit SINNING ain't it?

 Thanks Pete. Good questions. Intimacy with God is why we were created. He wants us to know Him. He is worthy to be our focus. Without intimacy with Him I would have died a long time ago. And now I walk in newness of Life through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour, as I die daily, and he lives through me more and more. It is a daily continueing in Him. Blessings
