I Think. . .

Lately I have been thinking an awful lot about how people who attack us and our way of thinking call us polically incorrect but if we do the same thing to them and their way of thinking they call us intolerant. I think it is just another case of double standards with Christianity, God, The Bible, morality, etc. getting the short end of the stick. Personally, I am rather sick and disgusted by it all.

Back in November, just before Thanksgiving, I was passing on some e-mails from a an organization that stands against those who advocate anti-family, anti-Christian ideas and movements. I passed them on to everyone I knew. One person who I sent them to, a member of my family, became very angry with me about it because they have in-laws who are living the "alternative lifestyle" that was being advocated against. This family member proceeded to call me and all Christians bigots and hypocrits saying that the Bible says that we are to love all people. I pointed out to them that we are to love all people but that there is a difference between loving a person and loving what that person does. This person refused to hear anything that I had to say and has not spoken to me since then, blocking my e-mails. Since I have no phone I haven't made any attempts to call nor have I written. I have placed him, my son, in God's hands, and pray that in time he will have at least as much courtesy for me and my way of life as he does for his in-laws.

I know someone who fought Social Security for years to get disability and when they finally got it they were cheated out of most of their retro-active pay. Recently this same person's adult child was diagnosed with HIV and Hep C. That adult childs disability application is being rushed through the system so that their checks will start within a month or so. This person became ill due to immoral lifestyle choices and is now being rewarded by the system for those choices. Something is very wrong with this picture.

We as Christians must make a stand against the powers of darkness that is making such a marked impression on our world. Why do we stand idly by, doing and saying nothing as this type of thing continues? Why do we allow our children to be exposed to people who are perverted and teach them that they are normal? Why do we believe that they are limited to only this one type of perversion and allow them access to our young people? We have got to do something to stop this sort of thing and we have got to stand together to do it.

Why?
Lack of spiritual back bone!
Give us more 'holy' boldness Lord, in Jesus name.

awww, so sorry for this difficult situation that you are in with your son...but i do think that you are right to stand for the truth...and it reminds me of what Matthew says in chapter 10

20For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

21And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

22And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Eli and I are no longer seeking a relationship.

I am the one that called things off, I am not doing well with the distance thing. I am not seeing any way to have all this work.

Plus, my employment has been taking hits and the funds to make all this come together is so much more than I could ever come up with.

I know this is a faith thing, but I am holding Eli back by my up and downs with this struggle, and causing her more grief than she needs at this time.

I will not be returning to BC. I had enough of all the internet stuff, perhaps one day I will peek in and take a look, but I know Eli enjoys her time here and I do not want her to be uncomfortable with me here.

I have enjoyed all of you allot, and I hope and pray that you all will be blessed daily here.

Just so you know, Eli is one of the best women I have ever met….I will regret giving up, I do already, but I can’t hurt her anymore with my lack of faith in this.

LOVE
Don

Pray Please

UMMM ..Thats alll I can say
