In a discussion on Bruce (Freeman81's) blog he had the following to say, "Hey what is it about those 3:16 verses???? There all fantastic" after a discussion in which Duncan (duncan54) spoke about a verse he remembered which it turns out was probably Mal. 3:16. So I decided to do a post on the 3:16 verses in the Bible just to see what I came up with. I thought at first to edit them, deciding which I thought were the best, but then thought better of that. After all doesn't the word tell us that ALL scripture is profitable and given by the inspiration of God? You will find that in 2 Timothy 3:16, by the way!!!!!!! I'll reserve my comments till later. So, here they are, the 3:16's of the Bible. Have a look see and tell us which ones speak a special message to you. Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Ex 3:16 Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt: Le 3:16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the LORD'S. Nu 3:16 And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded. Wow how interesting is that? I'd need to study that a while but I see a pattern there.  I mean we need to keep in mind that King James added chapters and verses many years after the original text.

At first glance... aside from John 3:16, my favorites are... Eph 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; Php 3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 2Th 3:16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. But I'm still ponderin!!

Biblical parallels in the bible in various formats are unlimited. The God breathed written word is alive just as the breath of God transfered His Life into the man Adam. God is Life and all that comes forth out of God is infinitely alive. Everthing in both the seen and unseen realms existed in Him before anything was created. The Word is a creature Light is a creature Water is a creature The earth has a soul All that was created From the earth has a soul The soul is the essense that allows Any particular creature to interact With and in it's Living enviroment. Redeemed man has citizenship in both realms. Wisdom speaks and tells us to respect And validate ALL Living creatures Knitting the fabric of Compassion Returning harmonious Unity to all As much as Heavenly possible Til that glorious day of the Lord. We are one in the Spirit We are one in the Lord He is One All is alive and Interactive How could there not be parallells Shame on us, huh? Hebrews 5:8 Matthew 11:6

The only thing I would disagree on is the 'Shame on us" part for not realizing all the parallells that God has made in His word. Jas 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.... 1Jo 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. those two stood out as such a contrast...and don't ever want to be guily of the first one again...i agree there is lots of meat in a lot of those....we need to always remember malachai here on b.c. in how we fellowship and respond to others!... i have been guilty of uncalled for comments in doctrinal debates and humor as well. good job sis and thanks for all the hard work in posting these

I find hope and strength in the new testament verses here in this posting. I just finished a study of jeremiah 29 on believers bible study and am also about to start another study in jeremiah, drop by sometime, i thouroughly love the bible in all its entirety and love to see all of the paralells and look forward to always learning more and more! be blessed and: here are my favs Ga 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.
