Wal-Mart Rolls Out Red Carpet For Homosexual Marriage

Dear Cecilia,

When Wal-Mart announced their support for the homosexual agenda a few weeks ago, they meant what they said. You will remember that Wal-Mart asked for, and received, permission to join the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). The company announced they were giving two large grants to NGLCC. The world's largest retailer was rewarded with a position on the board of NGLCC. Wal-Mart also announced they would give preference to homosexual-owned businesses in purchasing products.

Justin Nelson, president of NGLCC, said he expects Wal-Mart to use its influence to pressure suppliers like P&G, Johnson & Johnson, and Gillette to give homosexual businesses preferential treatment. Wal-Mart is also working on a plan to provide domestic-partnership benefits to homsexual employee "partners." The NGLCC is a leading promoter of homosexual marriage.

A quick search for books sold by Wal-Mart found the following related to the promotion of homosexual marriage:

What God Has Joined Together: The Christian Case for Gay Marriage

Gay Marriage: Why It Is Good for Gay, Good for Straights, and Good for America

Legalizing Gay Marriage

Why You Should Give a -amn about Gay Marriage

Civil Wars: A Battle for Gay Marriage

Gay Marriage and Democracy: Equality for All

Defending Same-\bsexo?\b Marriage

Why Marriage Matters: America, Equality, and Gay People's Right to Marry

Gay Marriage, Real Life: Ten Stories of Love and Family
A quick search of Wal-Mart's website turned up the following number of items for sale:

Gay - 1148
Lesbian - 468
Transgender - 40
Bisexual - 38
Gay Marriage - 26

From "American Family Association Action Alert"

The American Family Association, One Million Moms, One Million Dads and One Million Youth are several web sites which are helping folks such as ourselves to have a voice in the things that concern us as Christians. These sites are supporters of the traditional family values that this nation was founded on. I encourage each of you, if you are not already active in one or more of these or other such organizations to get involved. Join us in raising our voices against the things that are destroying everything that we believe in and on which our country was built. We, as Christians, have sat idly by for too long, our silence and passiveness has been a part of the problem, it is time to rise up and stand strong for what we believe in.

Well, I just forwarded an article to my Pastor yesterday in regards to New Jersey's current passed legislation-----

I have known gay/lesbian people. I have treated them as I would anyone else. I do not think they are right. I think their lifestyle is a sin.
However, I do not see their sin different than I see sin in general.

But my whole point in sending what I did to my Pastor (in case he missed it) - was because when our government etc. starts making law what is an abomination of Christ---- well----- you just really have to wonder what this world is coming to!!!!

But we know don't we?

Sure makes one wonder if Jesus truly might be coming back today-- or tomorrow.

Babylon, Sodom & Gomorrah all over again. & We know what happened there.

I did not know about Walmart. & They are a giant here. Plus have stores throughout the world.

This is what amazes me------ the world and even the law has over decades opened soe that anyone with any kind of agenda can display their beliefs, stand on them, march for them and lobby lawmakers . . .
Yet at the same time---- God was all but taken out of schools, prayer and bible studies halted . . .

Cannot infringe on anyone's "religious rights"----- UNLESS your religion appears to be Jesus Christ--- the Lord of Lords and King of Kings!

Amazing---------

Truly, may God help us all. & I mean that, truly-----

Well we have a President that sides against Walmart and tried to get legislature passed against queer marriage. I use the word Queer because its an abomination. I have friends who are gay and we just leave that subject alone.

Its just a fallen world. People are either running with the Lord or running with the enemy. There isnt an inbetween.

PS

And that is precisely why I post politics here. You have a liberal democratic party that promotes gay rights, promotes things that are detrimental to families and to the ecomomy in general. Vote Republican...it isnt perfect but it is profamily and much much better.

Hello Cecilia,
This is a good "spiritual" weather report. Looks like
it could get stormy as this winter comes on.
We can expect to see more and more I think. Thanks for posting.

I agree, sis, Christian's seem to be the minority in this country these days but I know in my heart that this simply is not true. We have just sat by and allowed these things to happen. We have been too complacent. We must rise up and let our voices be heard.

I also agree that homosexuality is just another sin, no better or worse than any other, but making it legal is just outrageous. Just as making abortion was and is and so many other things that we as Christians have sat on our duffs and allowed to happen.

It must stop, we must unite and speak up. My Lord said that any who deny Him, He will deny them when that great day of judgement comes. If we sit silent and let these things continue, if we place a gag in our mouths and do not speak up in honor of Him and what He has shown us to be the true and righteous path, if we cover our eyes and pretend not to notice the blatant blasphemy going on around us, if we hide in our homes and refuse to go out into the highways and byways to do the work that He has set before us, isn't it the same thing as denying Him?

We live in the greatest country this world has ever known, because it was built upon the principles that God set forth in His word. We have opportunities as citizens of this country to do that which millions all over the world have died and are dying to obtain, the ability to speak up and be heard. What blessings God has given to us, I encourage everyone to take advantage of them.

Dennis, I agree that we are either for the Lord or against Him, for what is right or for what is wrong. To many believe that keeping silent on an issue means that they will not be held responsible for the outcome, but that simply isn't true. Not voting on something is the same thing as voting for it, it is just the cowardly way of doing so.

I too know people who are gay, I pray for them, just as I do for any other person who is unsaved, lost and headed for the fires of hell. I ask my Father to open their eyes, hearts and minds to the truth. They are no less His children than I am, no less loved by Him. My Jesus bleed and died for them just like He did for me and I love them as I know that He loves them.

Dennis, I don't vote by "party". I vote by what "spirit". It matters not to me what party a person is a member of, my Father leads and guides me, showing me who He wants in an office and that is who I vote for whether they be Republican, Democrat, Independent, Liberal or whatever. I study their web-sites and read up on what they stand for. Then I pray, pray, pray.

Sis, I believe that it has been stormy for a long, long time and we Christians have been hiding our heads in the sand like a bunch of ostriches. Thanks so much for the support.
