Because Amy is so far along in her pregnancy they are having to induce labor and she will have to "give birth" to the baby. They started at 6:00 a.m. CST this morning. It is now 11:42 and I just got off the phone with Matt. I could hear the pain in his voice over this loss, but he will not talk about it, he has always been that way, thinking that he has to be the big strong man. She has not even started labor. After she "gives birth" then they will perform the D&C. This is going to be a long and difficult day for them. Please remember them in your prayers. Ephesians 6:13 . . .and having done all, to stand

Lord, I join with my brothers and sisters now, and we dedicate this family to you in the Name of Jesus. We dedicate and declare before all the heavens and the earth, that this child, is set upon this earth for Your Glory. The baby, belongs to the Kingdom of God.... I want to thank you all for your love and support for my kids and I. Amy "gave birth" to the baby, a little boy, at about 1:30 CST, yesterday afternoon. Everything went so well that she did not have to have the D&C after all and, if they so choose, they will be able to have other children. They still have a long way to go for the emotional pain to heal, even somewhat, as I know that the loss of a child never completely heals, even when that child is not of your own body. Oh Cecilia - I just came in - Will be lifting up Amy and Matt and yourself- that the Lord would just hold all of you in His mighty hands and comfort you all. That He would touch and heal each wound in the three of you -physical, emotional and spiritual, and that He would protect you and help you through this loss with His mighty grace and just flood you with His tender love.
