I know I havent' been around much the past week or so. My life has been really full and I have some things to report to you guys. I hope that you will join me in praising the Lord. Seventeen years ago one of my nieces gave a baby boy up for adoption. Part of the adoption agreement was that the adoptive parents and my niece would stay in contact so that my niece would know what was going on in the childs life and that she would recieve pictures of him as he grew up. About six or seven years ago my niece stopped recieving responses to her letters. This of course upset her very badly. For the past several years she and I have been trying to track my great nephew down. A bit of explanation here. My neice and the baby were living with my ex and I and we were going to adopt the baby ourselves. We lived out on an 800 acre ranch and one day we went into town to talk to a lawyer about the adoption and when we returned the baby was gone. I haven't seen him since. I believe that my sister talked my niece into not allowing me to have the baby, to this day, though my niece denies this. I was estranged from both my niece and my sister for years over this. About 2 months ago my niece informed me that she thought she had found her son on a blog site but did not know what to do. I went and joined the blog site and e-mailed the person, asking if he was my great nephew and letting him know that we had never stopped loving him and wanted to make contact with him. Praise the Lord, it was him. My niece has heard from the adoptive mother and has recieved pictures. The young man has a very full life right now and I believe that the adoptive mother has not been totally honest with him concerning his natural mother's continued attempts to remain in contact as he as stated that he doesn't have time for this right now and why wasn't she around before now. Please keep this situation in your prayers. As I am sure many of you know my heart and this child is mine, in my heart, as well as my nieces. It has been a bittersweet victory, for I have felt all over again the empty aching for the baby that I once held in my arms, as I am sure my niece has done as well, though he was not born of my body. I have always known that God would bring this child back to us all. Please help me to praise Him for finding him and pray with us that we will be re-united with him. Ephesians 6:13 . . .and having done all, to stand

Hey sister, I don't believe God would have brought him back into your lives and then snatch him away again. I believe with all my heart this will come to fruition. But as you ask, I will pray. And I'm rejoicing with you. \O/ Elizabeth

Wow, I have a warm fuzzy feeling that this will all turn out to be a wonderful blessing for you. Please keep us posted as to his responsiveness to your contacts with him. BLOG COLOR FOR BEGINNERS
