Acts of kindness don't have to take either time or money.

1. Give five compliment every day.
2. Let a person with only a few items go ahead of you in the grocery line.
3. Give your spouse an extra hug. (or your kids)*
4. Smile at everyone you see.
5. Be a buddy to a new co-worker.
6. Pick up trash when you're walking.
7. Offer to return the grocery cart for an elderly person or a mother with small children.
8. Write a thank-you note to someone who influenced you.
9. When someone tries to merge in your traffic lane, let them in and wave as you do.
10. Leave a treat or a note of thanks for your mail or newspaper carrier.

LOL...the author thing...

All of this stuff sounds like how some people conduct themselves on a daily basis anyway. Oh, that it would be like breathing for all of us, to be this kind.

I don't work, and I haven't done anything nice for the mailman for a very long time....ya gave me some things to think about, Ma'am.

What a joy filled world we'd enjoy if 50% of the people practiced only 50% of your ten acts of kindness on a daily basis.

Cuz I got in another scuffle

My blog was being pretty tame too, for a very long time, cept that tension with Simpele.....and kaboom!!

I was just trying to have another discussion. They've been going pretty well.....please just don't be too disappointed in me for speaking my mind.

I know, angel, we all have our moments, that is why God told us to forgive 70 X 7 times. Some say that is 490 times but 7 being the perfect number and the number that represents God Himself it really means that we should forgive as He does, without end, until there is no hope left. That doesn't happen until someone dies, sweetie.

And never forget that you are not alone. We are all human and fall. We all make mistakes. None of us can claim to be perfect. The point that I was trying to get over to Simpele1. If we were then Jesus would not have needed to tell us to forgive so many times, would He? No, you are doing very good with your blogs, as I said, they make people think and shine the light upon themselves. You may take things that people say in the wrong way sometimes but I realize that only because I know you better than most, because we have so much in common, and because I used to do the same exact thing all the time, still do sometimes.

One thing that is so hard on a site like this is all this shorthand and not being able to see one face to face as they comment so that we do not get the full intent of what they are saying. All to often we can read things into it that are not there. One reason I am so guilty of such long comments, because I spell things out as precisely as possible in order to prevent this sort of occurance.

Be at peace, baby girl, for surely God will work things out. Those that you are in difficulties with are people that I love as well and my prayers are with all of you, always. We are family, and with the Dad that we have, things always work out.

I think I do all those things on the list...except the newspaper and mail things cuz I don't get a newspaper and, well, I never know when the mail is coming.
