This, of course, is old as I recieved it several years ago in an e-mail. But the facts remain the same..

Learn these facts to properly debate our poor misguided friends & family before election time !!!

There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq during the month of January.....

In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January.

That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war torn country of Iraq.

When some claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war, state the following ...

FDR...
led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost, an average of 112,500 per year.

Truman...
finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost, an average of 18,334 per year.

John F. Kennedy...
started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.

Johnson...
turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost, an average of 5,800 per year.

Clinton...
went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent, Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.

In the two years since terrorists attacked us President Bush has ...

liberated two countries,

crushed the Taliban,

crippled al-Qaida,

put nuclear inspectors in Libya,

Iran and North Korea

without firing a shot,

and captured a terrorist who slaughtered

300,000 of his own people.

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but...

It took less time to take Iraq

than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51 day operation.

We've been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina
Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!!

Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB!

The Military moral is high!

The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts

A new year has arrived and with it comes a time of choices for the people of the United States. As a Christian I feel it is vital for all Christians to unite, take a stand and let our voices be heard. We have stood in the shadows for too long. We have sat quietly while our rights, our freedoms, our beliefs, our faith have suffered mortal wounds by the enemy. We must take our heads out of the sand, before it is too late.

It is my prayer that my brothers and sisters here will join with me this year by becoming active politically, pay attention to what the candidates have to say, be ever vigilant and prayerful about what God's will is concerning the coming elections, ask His guidance in who you should vote for, for every single office you have the opportunity to vote on, be it the city manager of your home town, the mayor, govenor, senator, congressman/woman and of course president. Then make certain that you do all in your power to promote the person that God tells you He wants in that office. And make absolutely certain that you VOTE

Hi Redbird,
Excellent post! You were courageous in writing it, although I am with you 100%! I voted for Bush, both times, lol, and I think he has been a great President. If Hillary gets in, and we have another terror attack, she will want to negotiate with the terrorists. I want a person that is godly and not afraid to stand up to those seeking to destroy us. Someone who has no regard for political correctness. I am very active in the political process, perhaps even radical, lol.
I agree with every word you said! God bless you for your boldness.

Thank you so much for your comments, Terrie. I wouldn't say I am so much bold as I am tired of our faith, beliefs, etc. being destroyed by the secular world. It this is boldness, it is of the Lord, and I hope that a whole lot of Christians catch it!!!!!!

God Bless and Keep You,
Love ya,
Cecilia

Michael, I certainly am aware that President Bush has made mistakes, but then, haven't we all? He is no more omniscient than you or I. Nor does being elected President of the United States come with a penchant for perfection. But we must fight the trend to compound the problems we already have by allowing someone who has no or few moral values, and who will allow the moral standing of our nation to continue to plummet, to become the new president, just because this one has made mistakes. We have to try and make people open their eyes and see the truth.

Thank you so much for dropping in to visit and for your comments
