I am about to pray a prayer of commitment to God, will you commit to God with me? Before committing however I need to say, we were all bought at a price and we do not belong to ourselves. If you went to the store and bought a bag of rice, would not that bag of rice belong to you to do with as you wish? To take it home and cook it, or to give to the needy, or even to pour in a jar and put something in it to keep moisture out? Couldn't you do that because it belonged to you? Well we are that bag of rice, bought at a price, and don't we belong to He who has bought us? not as slaves but as children of God? Yes God gave us free will, but can the bag of rice say to the one who bought it, take me back to the store and put me on the shelf? God gave us free will so that we would choose to accept Jesus as our Lord and savior, making the Father our God and us His children. Will the bag of rice say to the one who bought it, let me do as I please? Before I pray and ask you to join me in fully committing to God, I also need to say that God would rather we continue in sin than to make a commitment to Him and break it. Our God is a God of covenant and He does not break it nor wants us to. Please concider carefully before praying with me!! Heavenly Father, I have done things my way far to long and I ask your forgiveness, I openly and willingly commit myself to you, all of me not just some part, Father I give back to you my will that you gave me, it is yours not mine any longer, Father your word says that the eyes of the Lord roams throughout the earth strengthening those who are fully committed to you, strengthen me Father as I commit to you and give you my life to do with as you see fit, Father convict me when I think of doing my will so that I may turn from my will and do your will always, use me that I might bring you Glory and Honor in all that I do, in Jesus name Amen God bless you all, if you prayed or didn't, that's ok, I love you just the same, Mike |

Rj, Thank you for your kind words and your prayers, those are always welcome. You also have a nice blog started, God's word and the truth thereof is at the heart of your blog. Keep that light shining, there is much darkness here at BC. The worst of which are those who have been deceived and therefore deceive others out of ignorance. May the Holy Spirit guide you and may you always bring God glory and honor in all you do. Keep up the GOoD work. God Bless You, Mike

There I go again gettin in a hurry with the type "O" errors. I guesmnif zifkfmmThstI dgduryniufjrowldwcwd Isn't this how we are percieved by others when we don't pray and ask God to open doors or remove the scales so when we try to communicate his love wether we are doing or talking we need the Holy Spirit to speak and as we listen more he will show us the way and to other's that need him. Maybe when someone coyed the phrase "It's all GREEK TO ME " they were thinking of either the New Testament or the modern day believers . Church is great to fellowship, but playing church 34/7 doesn't cut it. We must be real with those around us and get the thee's and thou's out of our vocabulary. Steve What is one of your favorite past time event's while ministering to an unbeliever?

Mike,I am not sure what happened, but I posated before this and it was quite long. i will ask the Holy spirit to give it to me. I basically was indicated as you stated that we have no rights. You have heard other's say" I was offended( So!) or they violated my rights(What rights, unless you're an unbliever) or that isn't fair( Life is never fair) You're right we gotta get over the my rights syndrome if we expect the Lord to move in our life or accomplish anything glorious for Jesus. I am blessed everytime I get on BC, when I have time. I think my last message got zapped, becaus eI wasn't thinking . I listed the website of the Christian Publication I promote. Oh well who's perfect. There are so many things thatn we can repent of, but the main thing is not being sensative enough . As the Holy Spirit either convicts us or prompts us to clean certain ares up in our life we can be thank ful that we have a God who cares enough to not leave us alone , but truly loves us and Yes!Dsciplnes us if needed. To Him be glorified and honored for wonderful things he does for his children daily . We all shouild make this a regular part of our prayer life to surrender daily and crucify our lives like Paul stated in Gal. 2:20. Take care of Jesus He takes care of us.

Steve, Welcome to my blog, thank you for stopping by. I was reading someone else's blog the other day when the Holy Spirit brought to my attention that we all as Christians we bought at a price. Actually everyone was, only those who don't believe can't or wont accept it. Anyway, that is when I sat down to write a post about being bought at a price. This is what came out as I wrote. You are right too, we need to deny self every day, we no longer belong to ourselves but to the one who bought us. God Bless You, Mike

Hi again Mike... just dropping in - thankyou for being part of this huge work that God is doing through His children... I am so amazed at how God has constructed all this... the posts.... the call to comittment.... the call to fast and pray.... the group for the 24/7 prayer that Josetta has set up.... wow........ I really do feel like we are about to enter a season of even deeper consecration to the Lord and I do believe, many strongholds will be broken, many breakthroughs to come, many hearts delivered out of abject misery, many miracles in Him about to take place. I am so very honoured to be part of this and to have you as my brother in one accord, as with my other brothers and sisters. Again, thankyou so very much Mike, for all you are, in Him. Blessings to you eli ~ contending for the truth ~ ...eli...

Eli, I believe that God is about to move in peoples lives here at BC too. There are a lot of hurting people here, I believe that it is the responce others have given to the hurting that has caught Gods attention here. If you look back at the old testiment you see over and over where God was move by compassion to bless people. That was because someone or many people did something compassionate to someone else, or prayed for them in a non-selfish way. God is moved by compassion because He is a compassionate God. I thank you for following the call God has put on your heart to bring this together here at BC. God Bless You sis, Mike

Dear Father, I come before you again, publicly today to reaffirm and recomitt that prayer of comittment I made last November to you. Lord, even standing for truth, and righteousness has led me away at times from exactly where I should have been standing with you.I sometimes act on my own ways, and no matter how 'holy' or 'truthful' they appear, the honest truth is that if I learn to lay down my life for you, then I need to trust You much much more, without conditions.I ask your forgiveness, I openly and willingly commit myself to you again, afresh, all of me not just some part. Father I give back to you my will that you gave me, it is yours not mine any longer. Help me to always remember this Lord God, and bury that in my heart. Father your word says that the eyes of the Lord roams throughout the earth strengthening those who are fully committed to you, so please strengthen me Father as I commit to you and give you my life to do with as you see fit... and help grow me that it may be unconditional and without reservation, even in the hidden places of my heart. Father please convict me when I think of doing my will so that I may turn from my will and do your will always, use me that I might bring you Glory and Honor in all that I do, in Jesus name Amen. ~ contending for the truth ~ ...eli...

Eli, I am sorry I did not see this sooner, forgive me please? I sit here with tears in my eyes as I read this. I know that if you brought tears to my eyes then you have brought joy to Gods heart. I know your words came from your heart and were not just words but heart felt truth before God. Thank you for the joy you brought to me through God's Holy Spirit. God Bless you, Mike

Amen! and Father we come to You in the name of Jesus, commanding all evil doors to be shut in our lives. And Father open any doors that need to be opened, in the sp ritual and natural realms of our lives in the name of Jesus. Father I plead the Blood of Jesus over those doorways and command the enemy to be rendered powerless and harmless so they can not come back through those doorways again to my home, property, automobile, work place, business, finances, ministry, my spouse, spouse's work place, our kids, their schools, their work places, our friends and loved ones in the name of Jesus Don't kick the donkey Numbers 22 v 22
