How do we keep track of Blog Posts now?

It used to be that I'd click Watch Post, and then the Watched Posts pages would highlight each Blog YELLOW if there were new posts since I lasted visited that Blog.

Well, there is STILL a Watched Posts page, but I think it no longer highlights yellow.

Also, it now only lists one page of posts.

So--

How do you/we keep track of Blog Posts now?

And Watched Posts?

Thanks!

Workaround for Watched Posts listing only one page of posts:

If you had or have enough Watched Posts to have at least a Page 2, and you ever went to it, then that Web page address could be in your browser's History on whatever date was the last time you went to it. This may have been months ago, since that is when the feature was removed from BC.

If you did not, but have enough now, you may still get to succeeding pages by doing the following:

In the Address Bar of your browser, after the BigChurch part, at the first / put the following: /blog/list_all_watched_posts.html?m=YOURMEMBERSHIPNUMBER&page=1

Make sure that there is only one / after the BigChurch part.

For each succeeding page that exists, add 1.

Your membership number is the one that should show up in the browser's Address Bar when you log in, and are on the Home page. Replace the ALL CAPS part above with your number.

For me, the number looks like this example: 1234567_89012.

Then press Enter, and if you have another page, it should show up.

Make sure it says page=2, or whatever page you want to go to.

(Currently, I have almost 10. So it should go at least that far.)

I wish I could help you in that department, I now have apparently too much time on my hands again since I am not helping out at the Computer Doctor's office 6 days a week.

I just respond to most posts I see.

I rarely follow up because I respond to too many?

Thanks for writing.

If you’re not on guard against things that are not Christ like, you will be influenced by things that are not Christ like.

What are you allowing in your presence to go on?

Christ like, or not?

Care?

It is a shame some do not know the truth about matters, less take the time to notice what matters to those around them, forbid they intentionally and consistently look outside of themselves to seek out those in need of being listened to.

As long as there is breath in the body, there is hope for the soul it bares.

Fail as I may, attempting to be consistent, saved by grace unto good works, are you?

When we were redeemed, we were called to make disciples, raising them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, so they in turn may do likewise.

Saying I am sorry is WORTHLESS without real repentance.

Without a personal and intimate relationship with God, how can you ever realize the true identity and person of God?

Continue to be faithful, deliverance is near, obedience must be seen, be an unconditional blessing as He continues to bless you.

This time is short, serve Him well, serving all.

Without exception.

In order to see all the recent posts, you have to click on the "view all" link at the top of the "recent posts" window. The ones on the front page aren't the most recent ones.

Also, they no longer highlight the posts on the "watched posts" after a new post is added.

I am very disappointed in the tech support here at BC over the last few months. One problem after another. I refuse to pay for a membership as long as things are working as badly as they are. Just me, maybe, but I get irritated when I pay for something and do get what I am supposed to get. You know?

God bless you!

Interesting idea. I hadn't really thought of looking at Recent Posts.

The problem with that is that it lists ALL recent posts by everyone! I'd have to wade through the list to see which ones I already posted to, and then try to remember WHEN I posted to those. I don't have that kind of memory available.

But someone could pray for a miracle. LOL.

Hi,

Yeah, that's a cool feature that I sometimes use.

But I was hoping to see if anyone has responded in Blogs that I posted to. I don't see any way to know now other than to go and look. What a drag.

You used to be able to tell by looking at Watched Posts, and looking for a blog that was highlighted yellow. Great feature, but they removed it! Dumb move.

wpx1 replies on 4/20/2009 1:45 am:

Yeah, On the other hand, that might a method to use: I could look at all the blogs I posted to recently, and see if anyone posted after me. Wow. What a drag that is, though.

Oh, and if someone posts to a Blog days or weeks or months later, I might never see it.

Are you able to keep track or your posts like that? You've got like 5000!

Bring back that yellow highlight feature BC!
