This is a comment someone made to me the other day:

"The only people who post in your blog are just DESPERATE to post anywhere! Your blog and Mag posts are boring!"

It got me to thinking!

What do you think? Is it OK for a married couple who have gone to a dance together to slow-dance closely with members of the opposite sex who are not their spouse?

Since BigChurch is considered a "dating site for singles", why do you think married people are on BigChurch?
They're cheaters!
They're swingers!
They're LOOKING for their next mate!
They're NOTreally married..not looking..just want friendship!
They met on BC, got married, and stay for the Christian fellowship and opportunity to minister and be ministered to!
They are married, did not meet on BC, but enjoy the fellowship!

archangel and I went on a journey to visit Elder Jackson in Jerusalem a while back. Wow..was it a journey! When we arrived at the army guard house, there were no military personnel to let us in. We had to wait for an army commissioner to give us permission to enter the land.

We had to go thru Old Jerusalem and West Jerusalem to get to Elder Jackson. The military had destroyed all of the bridges, so we had to take detours thru almost impassable roads. As we looked around, we could tell where homes once stood, but were now totally demolished by the soldiers.

Along the way, we passed several war memorials and grave sites. Some of the grave sites consisted of whole families who had died at the same time. What a tragedy!

Mortar fire was heard in the distance. We took several shots along the way.

Where are we?

Why are we here?

It wasn't as dangerous as it sounds! We were on a sight-seeing trip thru an army training range which was open to the public!

The guards at the gate? ....You need a PASS to enter!

Jerusalem, Old Jerusalem, West Jerusalem, and Elder Jackson? ....Names of roads there!

Grave sites and demolished home sites? ....Communities once flourished there years ago!

War memorials? ....In dedication of the men from those communities who fought and died in previous wars!

Mortar fire in the distance? ....The army was in training miles away!

The "shots" we took? ....Were from our camera!

What is a lesson I've learned from this post?

Facts can be presented in such a way as to deceive and to distort the truth!

Could that also apply to the preaching and teaching of the Word of God...of the Gospel message...of CHRIST, who is all TRUTH?

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. John 4:11.

Loving others took on a whole new meaning for me after this experience from my "mother's heart" for my children:

As I thought about having to go out of town for a few days one time, I worried about my 2 teen-aged sons needing something while I was gone..and I wouldn't be there to help them. I thought if one of them were in need, surely the other one would help them, even though they fuss and argue sometimes! Then I could picture the one who could help, saying "I'm mad at him and I'm not going to help him." To that I responded "If you won't do it for him, do it for my sake. I love both of you. If I were there, I would help him. I'm not, though. I need someone to help him for me. Do you know the pain it would cause my heart to know one of my children were in need and there was no one to help him? So, if you can't do it for him, will you do it out of love FOR me? Do you love ME enough to do this FOR me?"

To me, this was a revelation into our loving others, with LOVE being an action word. The Father has children in need. He needs someone to help them. I can help. What if I don't want to help that person, though? They've been ugly to me and I just can't stand them! How much do I love the Father? Do I want to make the Father's heart glad, or am I willing to let His heart hurt? Am I willing to help that person OUT OF LOVE FOR THE FATHER?

Do I love the Father enough to help/love others for Him? I can't say that I ALWAYS love ALL people, because there are times that my flesh doesn't want to! God uses this question to work on me and to change me!

Hi!

In one of Dundeal's previous posts, he asked what would people remember about us when our life is over. As I reflected back over my life, these are the thoughts that came to my mind. This was my reply at the time:

She tripped and fell quite often in the race of life towards the finish line...but she always got up and kept on going.

She played in some of the mud puddles along the way...but she always got out and kept on going.

She bloodied and bruised her knees with some of the falls...but she always kept on going.

She crawled along the way some, too tired to get up and run...but she always kept on going.

She ran alone, with no one to cheer her on...but that was OK! She cheered herself on... and always kept on going.

She had met the Lover of her soul. He stood at the end of the Finish Line, waiting and calling out for her. HE is why she always... "kept on going"!

Hi!

Do you have a favorite post or posts? I have lots of posts bookmarked as "my favorite"!

To me, ONE of the funniest posts was THE GREATEST HITTER by Dundeal, dated 01/09/08. The post itself was not funny and it was not intended to be funny. The responses to it,
though, were HILARIOUS! There were 4 of us who replied to it in the Magazine and ALL 4 OF US mis-read it! I don't know which was funnier..the replies...or...Dundeal's comments
to the replies!

Please share one (or some) of your favorite posts with us and tell us why you like it!
