Being a Standard Member, I can't tell who they are from or why they were given!

I want to say "Thank You", but don't know who to tell it to!

John:4:23 KJV: But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John:4:24 KJV: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

QUESTION:

Is there a difference between worshiping God IN SPIRIT and IN TRUTH..

and...

"TRYING" to worship Him in my own strength,
my flesh?

The mask that I wear

to see.

The mask that you see

is not really me.

Behind the mask I wear,

God sees

the REAL ME.

Who do I see?

My "Mask"?

or

"Me"?

Psalms:51:6 KJV: Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts...

Thought Question:

TRUTHFULLY, on the inside, do I see myself as I try to make others see me...or...do I see myself as I am?

May I remove my Mask, turn my face towards God, and say:

"Father, help me to see the truth about myself and to be willing to accept that truth! Help me to be willing to let You change me in the areas that need to be changed. Thank You, Father!"

The first time I ever blogged was when I started blogging here at BC. I didn't know any blog etiquette (and still don't!). I just jumped in and started blogging!

It has been mentioned to me that I respond in an argumentative manner to those of you whose comments I disagree with.

I was told that I should not state my view or opinions in my replies to ur comments nor state whether I agree or disagree.

If I have argued with you, please forgive me. That was not my intentions.

My question is:

Do you think I argue with you or others?

What do you think this "THING" that I saw was?

About 8 years ago, I was STRESSING out over money..lack thereof to be exact! The weight of the worry became almost unbearable. It was all
I could think about morning and night.

One day, as I got back from paying a bill, the weight of the financial pressure got the best of me. As I sat there in the car, I prayed, "God, I can't take it any more. YOU'VE GOT TO DO SOMETHING!"

I went into the house, sat on the couch, looked up, and saw this "thing" walk out of my bedroom and into my bathroom. It was a beautiful "thing". Angelic looking. With each step that it took, the flowing off-white robe it wore outlined a male's physique. His head was covered with a gorgeous shining silver scarf. As I glanced at his head, he turned his head sideways so I could not see his face. It never spoke a word.

"It" was an absolutely beautiful "thing", but it scared the daylights out of me! I grabbed my purse and darted for the car so I could get away from "it". As I was driving down the road I said, "Now God, THAT WAS NOT FUNNY. THAT WAS JUST NOT FUNNY AT ALL."

Not sure what that "thing" was, but it worked.
I instantly quit worrying about money. I was too busy being FEARFUL!

My question again is:

What do you think that "thing" that I saw was?
Figment of my imagination
Evil angel/spirit
Good angel/spirit

Here lately, I realized that somewhere over the past few months, I went from KNOWING HIM, TRUSTING, and LIVING...to STRIVING.

I was placed in a "waiting" position in life. I felt I was "wasting my time" just waiting and doing nothing. I became aware of an area in my life that I needed to grow in. I decided I was going to grow! I became obsessed with TRYING to grow in that area. I became so focused on trying to grow, that I lost focus on letting CHRIST lead me in my spiritual growth. I was STRIVING for growth instead of just TRUSTING Him to work it in me.

The Lord has helped me re-gain my focus on Him now! Praise God!

My question to you is:

Have you ever lost your focus?
