I was searching for a husband, then decided to give up on that and just enjoyed the friendships here, then the Lord brought me a wonderful husband from here after all! Figure that one out, if you can! Thank You, Lord! Great poll!

Looking for that wonderful man that God is, hopefully, going to introduce me to someday - if I haven't "met" him already and just not know it. But, at the same time, have been entertained, gotten to cry and involved with many wonderful people. Yay BC!!

Be used of the Lord to encourage and be encouraged. Was looking and still is but now I am really learning a lot about myself and the brothers on here and what they are looking for as well. BigChurch is a unique place and a nice place to learn how to build relatinships and friendships. Blessings....Israel

I joined this site to meet fellow believers and to make some new friends. I am also hoping to meet some one that I can marry if the Lord see fit.

I found this site, while looking for online college's, since I have joined, I was looking for friends mostly, but I have met some really neat people here, I thank the Lord that He aloud me to find this site. I don't know, but, maybe the Lord will lead me to some one on here as well! Bye for now, and God Bless!!

You know, I'm not quite sure why I joined. It's not my thing, and to this point I have been really disappointed. Perhaps I've sidestepped a very important thing...as Mr. Shakespeare once penned (and I paraphrase) "This above all else, to thine own self be true." Being on BC is not being true to who I am. I'll probably cut my membership short.

I joined with reservations. Debated back and forth as to whether it would be a good idea or not. I was afraid people would see me as a desparate person taking desparate measures to meet someone. I too have been a little disappointed with this site only because I am shy about jumping in to get to know people. Then I just started exploring the different things availabe on this site like chat rooms, etc. The chat rooms move way too fast for me, don't think I could keep up so I always left. But I have checked into some of these polls and have responded to a few. I really joined because I am tired of sitting at home alone on Friday nites flipping through stations on tv. Most of my friends are married, older or work different shifts than I do. My goal on this site was to meet people for friendships and to go from there. I used to be a member on Classmates and we would sit and chat for hours or use the message boards to get to know each other and it was a blast. I'm kind of looking for the same thing here but hoping to find Christian friends. People who I have things in common with, share the same beliefs, etc. (That's one thing that was lacking on Classmates)......So anyway, here I am.......

i did join to meet the man i want to go into my future with. i am hoping i met him and he doesn't know it yet.haha. i just want God to place that person in my life...i must admit i have met alot of good people in here.it has been a joy... your friend and neighbor pat

First I was looking for a woman . I started on some other sites. Then I was looking for an intelligent and good-looking woman so I joined the jewish friendfinder after I ve found this site and received the impression , that God wants me to stay here. I remember me thinking , oh no,.. christians , how boring. now I come almost everday.
